I had positive adults in my family, as well as a few I’m not related to, as well. I have a Swedish grandma, who nurtured us and taught us how to read early. It was after she passed, at 14, that I didn’t have adults looking after me properly. The early, formative experiences are what teach us how to nurture children. I’ve known some who were neglected as small children, who read books and took parenting classes and became excellent parents, as well. If prostitution was decriminalized, it would help to remove unnecessary stigma.

Too many parents keep important info from their kids bcoz they're embarrassed talking about sex. Don't get me wrong, there are certain things I felt embarrassed talking about/answering but I NEVER EVER let my kids know I was embarrassed or made THEM feel embarrassed for asking.
