Having worked alongside Mr Bush for many years, in fact I played the "landlord" in his first movie "The Cockwell Inn", I can honestly say the guy is one of the best to work with. It's important for a director to understand his performers and give them the free reign to do what they do best to keep the sex fluid, entertaining and ultimately stimulating for its audience. A great guy and is why he has stood the test of time in an ever changing business.

Well, it's a simple fact. And a well-known industry term. This industry is mostly about opening up in one form or another, and acts with juxtaposed human bodies have to incorporate a third participant: the camera. In gonzo, the camera is often on the head of the male performer (Go-Pro…) or behind the shoulder, but otherwise… On a theatre there's a similar notion, where you have to exaggerate gestures and poses, making them obvious for an audience often sitting 90 degrees to the width of the stage. Whereas in other film genres, focus on scenic realism makes that less common. Porn is therefore quite theatrical, for a reason. 😉

The more experienced stars will know what works so it makes life easier and everything runs smoothly.

As a Voice Actor... for porn (mostly)... It's nice to find out that other people have the same kinds of jobs... It's nice just knowing I'm probably not the only guy who feels like an idiot grunting and groaning and carrying on to a microphone and a laptop... Thankfully in the relative privacy of my own home... AND we do form fairly tight-knit units... My primary animator and the gal who voices the other character(s) most often involved are part of my Discord... AND there's always some sharing about the films... and our approval, or occasionally feedback for when we catch something in the frame rate or a graphic fault... and we can tell the animator about it... and figure it out... AND no, I'm not against voicing other characters and films... I'd be happy enough doing just about anything... Sometimes they just need a male voice to brush up the soundtrack for whatever reason. Sometimes (like my regular job) it's about getting the whole video together... AND we recently had a laugh... My co-star remarked that we'd been f***ing for six or seven years, and never even shared a handshake or made a coffee-date... Haha... I've learned to welcome the "weird" conversations. It's okay if it gets a little difficult or uncomfortable. There are moments... You just do the job, and at the end of the day, someone's vision gets life breathed into it. Doesn't matter if it's "porn" or some "high concept" alternate reality and sci-fi or fantasy... It's a job. It's DEFINITELY nice to know that with the likes of "OnlyFans" and such, that the models and actors have their chance to step up the honor of the industry. I've never taken unfair advantage, and while I'm aware that some of that kind of thing happens (happened more in the past)... It's good to know we're evolving to the better. I hope the industry continues to move to more and more honor. Nobody should have to do something for their job when they're uncomfortable with it. Nobody should go to "work" with a sense of dread or invasion... I'm all about the "fun" aspects... BUT there absolutely MUST be limits and advocates for those who might not realize the volume of voice they really have for themselves... Good on you, mate. Hell of an interview! The internet really made the porn industry a whole new level of degenerate. We've all watched it, but I still think most people have the intuition that the vast majority of porn is a net negative to society by being an obstacle to social development, forming healthy relationships, and having healthy expectations around sex. Once my coworker bought a newspaper... Of sorts. Not pornographic, just celebrity rumors and other pointless information, but there were several ads of porno DVDs, and yes, we did read them to each other and laugh. So I guess I was one step away from doing so.

@@elenawilliams32 Occasionally, mostly they're ok with it and just have a lot of questions. The difficulty is judging when to mention it! But I'm always honest and open with it. No kids (that I know of) so not something I have to think about just yet!
