{Delete this} That’s actually an opinion I can support. When I say someone’s lucky I definitely don’t mean there‘s a mysterious force responsible for that haha however I am certain nothing is predestined so when a random person types in random numbers and wins the lottery for me that is luck :) Also it’s just logical that there‘s people randomly experiencing greater good things in life than bad things and vice versa, so yeah that’s what I meant to say with my original comment :)

It’s true. When you are part of one of “those families”, and you know when you are, there is no denying how lucky or unlucky some people are. It makes it so hard to relate to others and so easy to relate to a few. Everyone has their stuff but some would do anything to trade in their horrifying experience/s for the more common negative experiences.

If you want to talk about this technically I feel like it's the decisions you make. The little decisions that everyone makes right now affects the outcome of future events. Say you got In a car crash. If you didn't go or simply went to a minute later it would have not happenned. And every other car on the road affects his outcome

@Prem Kumar Uh, speak for yourself.. I broke my clavicula at 11 with my nerves getting pinched between the two parts every now and then. It was excruciating, even more so when i woke up without analgesia after my surgery a few months later. And even if i hadn't had such experiences, if i had heard my brother was severely hurt i'd be worried. Everyone would be. Even little kids cry at babies crying because they think they might be hurt.

Divorce isn't easy but imo staying through the hardest crap is harder as you are facing it each and every day and working through it. (I get sometimes divorce has to happen though. For me, pretending that it’s okay that i never get to see my father on his deathbed. I lived with my mom, and a day after i got university acceptance letter, my father is unreachable. And the day after, my brother called me and told me he’s passed away. And when i got to his house, he was already all covered up, and I couldn’t see his face for the last time after not meeting him for a year because my mom told me to not spend my holidays with him. It was really hard. It’s still hard for me. The amount of regrets isn’t measurable.

living with the knowledge that a loved one died in youth is so much harder than anything else i've ever experienced. Bones heal, fears can be overcome, life style changes can be accepted, mental health issues like depression, anxiety and anorexia can be worked through, you can learn to live without your exs, uni doesn't matter as much as you think it does, but grief lasts a life time. With the sick and elderly it can be rationalised that they are in a better place. I worked thought a 48hr masters exam with an agonizing kidney infection and inflamed intestines.....but i'd do it again immediately if i could bring her back.

The 22-year-old is my life right now. It's fitting that I'm basically the same age (in August I turn 22). Like, life is so easy as a teenager, then you finish high school and come to the realization that you need to figure out a future for yourself. To call that process stressful is the understatement of the century. Only now at almost 22 do I somewhat have an idea of how my life is gonna unfold over the next two decades. I consider myself pretty lucky, though, as some people don't have a life plan figured out until they're 30 or much older.
