The most difficult thing I did was that when my father passed away I saw his face for the last time. It was really difficult for me. I am 12

Well that's a rude and presumptuous thing to say. What if he's terrified of stairs/heights? What if he was in poor physical condition and his goal was to make it x-amount of stories high and it was difficult for him to accomplish? Bottom line is it was something he had a hard time with and he did it anyway. Focus more on being happy for people overcoming something that's hard for *them* than comparing it to how it'd be for *you*.

But it’s not uncommon knowledge that whenever somebody uses “I’m sorry” like that, they’re not actually sorry; it’s intended to be a passive expression to excuse the rest of the statement. It takes less effort to be kind than to make a judgmental statement.

Mine was probably to make myself laugh before getting brain surgery because I was *TERRIFIED.* Mom’s was to take over the reins of her mother’s businesses with her brother after their mother passed, because she had no will. Dad’s was holding our dogs after they were put to sleep. Bailey because she was old (15!) and 5 years later, Ginger because she got lyme disease. 😭

Swimming, tests, moving, relationships, and career moves for ages 5-49...then it gets serious after 50. Glad I got a few good years left.
