One thing struck me, when I am buying jeans or other dungarees to work in, I am looking for quality, so I am willing to spend more for heavier material and construction. The heavier materials help protect my body while I am working.

I remember the company DS looking at the scowl on my face and coming up beside me on a march one day. He said "Come walk with Old Drill, Private." "How you feelin' today, Private?", "You know what Old Drill always says? If you look good, you feel good!!". I started paying more attention to my BDU's after that.

I think the best innovation in jeans was actually pre shrunk denim. I remember getting jeans in the 80's and 90's for school and it was always a guessing game. Does brand A shrink a lot or was it brand B or C? Are these going to be too tight or way too loose? Then after you've washed them and they dont fit anymore, sorry nonreturnable. The worst!

I agree! I still have nightmares about new jeans that shrank two sizes after the first wash. And my mom put everything in the dryer on hot. (She didn't let me touch her household equipment. She was more protective of her machines than her children.)

I’m lucky, though only because through my obsession with clothes and shopping throughout the years, because I found a pair of jeans that fits me like a glove always. Gap jeans. Their 30x30 fits me like they were bespoke made for me. Because of this I just use that pattern. I really wish I had the machines to sew my own jeans. I know exactly what I want. Though I do have a pair of pleated denim skinny trousers that are cuffed. They look like jeans if you squint, but also look like dress trousers if you squint less. Recently I’ve been falling for pleats. I have gone decades absolutely hating them. Then I saw what they could look like if done right and fitted properly. Beautiful.

I watched your proper fit t shirt video. I have wide shoulders and am very thin so far I can’t find that perfect fit. Usually the sleeves run just past mid bicep and a little loose, perhaps that’s ok? I see online on almost all websites none of the models are wearing tighter fitting t shirts

I tried using Duer, but unfortunately they do not offer sizes for everyone and like you said, fit is pretty much the most important thing. I did like the look of them and the quality but I'm an unusual size. :/ If you happen to fall into the most popular size categories good luck to you. Also thanks for the video. I learned a lot.

So I have a question I'm a "fit" guy that works out 3-4 times per week and I don't shy away from leg day. However, I also have a wider midsection. I have worn loose fit jeans and relaxed fit jeans for as long as I can remember but they never really looked good on me. I've recently found athletic fit jeans that seem to fit good and look a lot better. My question is, how do you dress to impress for a body style that seems to have all of the disadvantages of two styles?

Good stuff sir. My problem is I’m bigger on top and short as well. I find a slim taper jean fits me best but I have a problem finding them short enough. I need a comfortable but cost efficient 38 x 28. If they have some stretch I can go down to a 36 waist. Any suggestions?

Wrangler has 38x29. Is an inch that big of a deal? With my husband's jeans, I found that the inseam is actually half an inch shorter than the label states, if that helps.

@@edennis8578 thanks, I have not tried the Wrangler brand. I have noticed that every brand has a slightly different cut and a 28 or 29 length for one brand is not exactly the same as another brand’s 28 or 29 length. Does Wrangler have stretch material? That can also make a big difference!

The frustrating thing for me right now is buying jeans and they sort of "poke" the bottom of my shirt out with their frame when I wear them. It almost looks like I have a weird looking pudge in my waist. It's probably mostly the belt, so I need to find jeans that aren't too wide in the waist so that I don't have to wear a belt, but also not too tight and uncomfortable to wear. I'm not sure that's possible. lol

Raise your standards men, these chicks wouldn’t be this comfortable unless they were getting constant validation. 1. Ignore her words focus on her actions 2. Don’t chase women become the man that women will pursue 3. Women you previously pursued and got rejected by Will later be interested when they see you have a different woman 4. Women think about marriage as a wedding day and not a lifetime supporting and respecting their man 5. Embrace rejection it will make you stronger 6. Disdain women who rejected you, ignoring them is the best revenge 7. The more attractive she is the harder you have to be, DONT SIMP 8. Stay away from single mothers 9. Prioritise your appearance no matter what’s 10. Never fully commit 11. Don’t share your weaknesses with a woman, seek professional help in a serious rut 12. Women cheat more than men, don’t let her accusations blind you 13. Be low tolerance, be ready to walk away at any given moment 14. Don’t be bitter, accept female nature and adjust 15. Keep playing the game and make it difficult. People come back to difficult games to try and beat it, easy games get played once and put on the shelf ........................................

I'm sorry, but I can't agree with this one advert. Companies that sell non-sports clothing, especially jeans, made from polyester, spandex and other man-made materials are crap quality, no matter how much marketing and fancy words they use. There is advantage to using but spandex in jeans, and it's somewhere around 1-2% max. Everything else is cheap crap that will get ruined in less than a year. Aside from that, good video.
