I have seven different cases/penrolls for different purpose. Case 1 for highlighters. Case 2 for colour gel pens. Case 3 is a compact one with a little bit of everything for everyday carrying. Case 4 by itself is a limited edition anime merch and I only store my anime pens in it (that I will probably never use because I bought them only for the collection, and they don't write as well as my other brand pens). Case 5 is a big one where I store my sketch/lineart supplies. Number 6 is a rickshaw deluxe penroll where I store my limited edition pens/pencils that I'll actually use (including some collaboration pens between anime and stationary brands). Number 7 is a worn out old penroll I bought at college and I fill it with some old cute pens the younger me got from some small dim local stores nearby my school. They don't write anymore, but everything I keep has a somewhat unique design and is nostalgia to me.

Another thing I've found is people over-hyping bad paper...like, a $2 marble composition notebook isn't even at the same level as Rhodia or Tomoe River.

In high school, a girl asked to borrow an eraser from me. I always use up primarily one side of the eraser first, so that the other has relatively fresh, sharp corners for more precise erasing. I had assumed that she would pick up on this by just looking at the state in which I kept it, until she gave it back with the once fresh corners completely flattened and smeared with pencil marks, and ONLY those corners. It was one of those really nice soft Pentel ones, too, with the green sleeve that I can never find anywhere these days. And people have the nerve to say I'm stingy with my stuff.

Oh god when I saw the pen chewing it reminded me of when I was in 8th grade (I’ve always been a stationery aficionado, and all my classmates knew it) in math class, this girl that sat right next to me (we were seated in tables not separate desks) asked to borrow a pen and so I gave her one of my pens (not the best one of course but it was still the pilot G2 pen) at the beginning of class and literally during the whole class I saw her chewing on MY pen during lecture and I was staring daggers at her. Then at the end of class she had the AUDACITY to return my pen all chewed at the click part!!! I told her to keep it and I vowed never to lend out any pens to people I do not trust ever. One time in college during biology we had to do a drawing assignment and I always brought my color pack of pens and some girl saw me take it out and asked to borrow and I did not want to lend it to her but I didn’t want to be rude so I told her to be careful with it and I lent her one color. Oh god I know it’s just stationery but as a student it was literally my whole world lol now as a working adult I have not needed to use any writing utensils in a long time haha

Every day I’d chew on one of these cheap pens and I’d just place it back in the desk. One day I want to chew on it, and there was a weird taste in my mouth. I realised too late there was old saliva inside the pen that came out into my mouth and the taste and smell was awful. The saliva was probably in there for days. This was probably 2nd grade or something. I haven’t chewed on a pen since.
