7 SYMPTOMS of SELF-SABOTAGE | Are you your own biggest enemy?

What if the BIGGEST ENEMY in your life is YOU?
Ever felt like you're fighting a battle against yourself? In this week’s NEW EPISODE, we're diving deep into one of the most critical yet overlooked battles you'll ever face - the battle against SELF-SABOTAGE.

It's been a journey of recognizing and conquering my shortcomings and now, I want to share these insights with you, so you can navigate away from these pitfalls and fast-track your path to becoming the NEXT BEST VERSION OF YOU.
There are 7 THINGS PEOPLE DO TO SABOTAGE THEMSELVES and I’m revealing them all in this episode AND giving you the tools to be able to RECOGNIZE them, CORRECT them, or AVOID them completely.
Have you ever felt stuck in life? Or felt like regardless of what you do, you just can't move the needle? Or maybe you’ve reached a certain level of success, but somehow always seem to slide backwards?
If any of these sound familiar, you are likely a victim of self-sabotage… and you're doing it to yourself!

I like this video but I think there is also a deeper lack of self-esteem and self-love that leads to self-sabotage, which could have been the aftermath of events earlier in life. You will need to have compassion and practice loving kindness towards yourself.

I've listened to it a couple of times. I want to ensure this lesson always stays with me. I've found that out of the 7 symptoms mentioned, I catch myself sabotaging my efforts in 6 of them. The only way I avoid sabotaging myself is by not celebrating for too long. However, I've come to realize that not internalizing the wins could also be a form of self-sabotage. I used to believe I didn't deserve the win, so I'd keep moving forward without ensuring I acknowledged and internalized the success to boost my confidence. It's a very valuable lesson that I'll need to revisit in the future. Thank you, Ed.

Thank you Mr. Mylett. Powerful message. And actually a difficult one to listen to as well: I sabotage myself daily. I Workout, I try to do my best at my job, and at the end of the day-I give myself permission to be lazy, reckless, irresponsible. I had to force myself to listen to this, prevent myself from running from a difficult message; I even journaled on this. And I NEVER journal. I’m 46 years “young”, and I wrote about how I still feel a desperate need to do better things in my life; I had to be ruthlessly honest with myself and my tendency to fail. I’ve often tasted small successes over the years and then I completely sabotaged it. All the time. I hope to turn things around from the inside out. Maybe in five years I’ll be able to do something with remembering, and I’ll be on your show. Hahaha By the way-I loved your interview with David goggins. He’s also a hero to me (since 2017). I hope to meet both of you great men in the future. Hopefully the near future. God bless. Stay hard, in the words of goggins. Happy holidays.

I close a good deal and i get complacent till i run low on cash before going haywire again. Ans during this time, i over worry on lack and get fixated on things I can't control. My love life is another area where thermostat keep getting low as though i deserve less probably thr programming came from my upbringing cos it was quite harsh parenting and dry toxic love that i was raised in. I already put the foot work in to ruin my life. I’ve learned at 60 years old that I never had more than 6 years staying power at one job. Of course I didn’t just quit, circumstances arose like my shift being changed to midnights or a hostile work environment. Either way there wasn’t enough planning and I threw my life into chaos. Now I’m broke, alone and uncertain where I’ll end up.

This is the single most important self help video on KZread, thank you, I am such a believer in this, my child that the UK education system gave up on at age 7, I home educated him and got this into his head that he now subconsciously keeps moving forward and is now at University studying IT, he is so progressive bless him, my friends stood by me but thought I was crazy but we did it and they are so proud of us as a mother and son and what can be achieved if you never give up x

One of the best things you said in this is to surround yourself in people who expect the best from you. I tell my students often if you're the best one in your friend group you need new friends, you need people who "bring you up" not give you the illusion of being great, by association.
