Same here, everyone! I also don't do any of these when I'm attracted to other people( which I am very often). I rather try to get over this attraction and tend to focus on other stuff than the one I'm attracted to, when I'm around them. And just remember to be yourself cuz you're enough as you are! "No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else" ~ PT Barnum (even when those everyone else are the ones people are attracted to!)

The way I found out my crush wasn't really into me was by flirting. I'm no expert in flirting, but I tried my best to make it a bit more obvious I liked her. Sadly, her reactions made it obvious to me that she wasn't liking it. So that sucked but hey, now I have a good friend with a funny story lol. So who knows? For when I experienced this it was true, made me hate myself more that I didn't try harder, life always seems to hand me love when I'm actually about to give up on it and focus on myself. Life has some pretty good moments but my mind overshadows them with the negative, like how I could have avoided losing my mind buried my feelings and could have salvaged something by blocking the one person I was falling out with, trying to minimize seeing her as much as possible until I got over her and shared with others what was going on with me...but didn't do that instead I chose to try burning every bridge and by that point I had sobered up I had done too much and became worse and worse, when all I needed to do was walk away, ignore her, mute them do what ever I had to in a shared environment with them

These videos make me confident that nobody finds me attractive. I don't have to worry about disappointing anyone. Thank you.

I rarely compliment a person I find attractive because I am pretty sure I would overdo and make them uncomfortable. It's rather difficult wanting to give a meaningful compliment without making it too obvious you're fascinated by them. Also, I'm sure the way of telling them (like tone and facial expressions etc.) would give it all away in my case.

This stuff happens to me a lot. Even though it's been going on for some time I never get used to it. It actually makes me really anxious on top of having social anxiety . Especially when random strangers are come up to me and get directly in my personal space or if I have to figure out if my uber driver is just really nice or trying to kidnap me 🙃

If you suffer from social anxiety, I did as well. I don’t have social anxiety anymore because of Jesus. He has completely healed me from it. If you want to be free from social anxiety, Jesus can save you from it if you believe in him as I did. Just wanted to share that!

Coming from a guy, if you don’t notice any of these signs, it doesn’t mean we don’t like you. I try hard not to seem creepy or desperate, and it comes off as I don’t like you. In fact, one of my past crushes thought I hated them I didn’t show my feelings that much. Some, like me, try not to show our feelings, especially if they’re more introverted. The one thing I do consistently is eye contact, I will catch myself staring at her, and then oh shoot she looks over at me lol. One time she was looking at me, and I literally thought about it all day. So, I would say, if you catch them looking at you on a consistent basis, then there’s a good chance they like you.

You’re a life saver! I have this boy that has been giving me signs of attraction but I don’t know what to do, plus I don’t know if I’m attractive in general to others! Thanks :))

I had a friend who used to be a really rude and childish person and I was completely oblivious to it for a few months, and then I realized how toxic she was, so I told her I was done being friends. Two years later, we talk a little bit and we became friends again. She's so much better of a person and she even admits her mistakes, as do I. Shes hilarious and pretty and I'm starting to realize I probably like her. A lot of people find her annoying, but she just has an eccentric personality and I can tell she really is a cool person now instead of someone trying to act like a 'cool kid' or something. Her development is amazing and I'm glad to have her as a friend, although a lot of people think she's strange, I know she really is an awesome person, and I've seen her prove herself multiple times. If you're reading this, (no name will be shared ofc) love ya girl, even though I know you don't back. Still surprised you want to be friends with me despite how much of a buzzkill I can be, and also our history. Friendships are beautiful, and me and hers relationship does show that you should give people second chances. Anybody can change, so don't push yourself to ignore someone just because of who they were in the past. The present is the most important moment of your life, because it's what is happening right now, and will always happen right now. Anyways I'm getting sidetracked. If that’s you in your profile pic then you’re beautiful! I think sometimes being insecure can come off as being stuck up and then even if you are beautiful people will be uncomfortable around you because they think you’re judging them. Once you gain more confidence this hinderance will fade away and you might notice more people gravitating towards you.

There were times when I feel absolutely worthless and ashamed of how I look. But, in the past 5-6 years until now, there are still some people I know (colleagues, lecturers even strangers online) told me I'm attractive. I guess it would be biased to rate my own given how everyone has their own idea of attractiveness. So, I used that confidence to build image for myself. Not for others. They are welcomed to have their own say in how I look. We do not live to please others or an eye candy or a subject of criticism. JUST BE YOURSELF. as long as you're comfortable and happy in your own skin.

Okay, you need to do a video on how to tell whether people are repelled by you because you’re hot and intimidating and hard to relate to vs. because you’re at the bottom of the social hierarchy. I’m so sick and tired of not being able to tell whether people are distant from me because I’m ominous and sexy like Dracula or because I’m creepy and pathetic like a bug. Bonus points if you relate it to romantic/sexual attraction like in this video.

Most of the time when I watch these videos they aren't for me, but I watch them so I can help other people

You know, I think you're right. I've been wondering why most of these rarely apply to me. I guess I forgot my helpful nature wanted to help people 24/7 (apparently that includes KZread videos now too).

For some reason I have trouble pinpointing strong emotions while they’re happening, and this leads to weird thoughts. Today my crush was talking to me and it was a pretty good experience! My thoughts afterwards came to how I was feeling. All I could describe it as was good terror, and feeling giddy. Later I realized that it was thrill, but good terror was such an oxymoron. It felt fizzy.

I think another sign is, if they are really insecure they won't come up to you and start a normal conversation right away, but rather linger around whereever you are and throw in random sentences (egg. "I'm so thirsty", "wow this is so crazy") just to catch your attention and make you respond to them. In combination with the starring at you and always being close to you this is a really obvious one, and it can get quite annoying if you are focused on something else at the same time.

@@rimshakhalid787 I'm glad your parents taught you of the truly unimportance of being physically pretty is. It is SO unimportant. As a matter of fact, the prettier you are on the outside, the more likely there is rotten fruit on the inside. Also, the one that counts the most, God and what he sees when he looks at you, physical appearance has absolutely no meaning to him. I can also say that I have had very, very few people in my life that i have dearly loved and cared about and none of those relationships had anything to do with how the person looked on the outside, but how they made me feel on the inside when I was around them. The true value of each person really does abide in their heart. And it seems the prettier a person is on the outside, the less likely they are to work on themselves on the inside.

This guy in my 4th and 5th period has been making a lot of eye contact with me. I recently realized he has a really beautiful smile and I realized I might have a bit of a crush so I started paying attention to him more. I liked him every since I was little then I moved away sadly he passed away .without knowing my actual feelings . ohhhh the last one yah people put me down to an extreme level and many back handed compliments. It did get to me . But slowly I realized they were insecure . Plus I had to re learn to love myself which was a hard process

As someone who is ugly i love to see a video about the perks of being unattractive hear me out in my 23 years of life these 5 perks are something I noticed 1 you blend into the background which is great for work and school projects are a life saver your rarely assigned major roles and just skate by without anyone really caring 2 People love you for you whats a rare thing if you're ugly like me and people still wanna date you or be friends just because they like you as a person I find Attractive people are always surrounded by friends but can never tell who likes them not just wanting to sleep with them 3 im gay so dunno if it counts with other sexual identitys you are more likely to be picked on dating/hookup websites because people are curious about you or feel more secure around you as you are not as attractive as them 4 You can always work out and buy form fitting clothes which will distract from ugly face 5 confidence is key i know people will say im being harsh on myself but where I grew up im seen as very unattractive from friends family romantic interests but you can turn it into a strength looking different is currently celebrated in today's modern day culture its more mainstream then it was 10 years ago hopeful this advice helps people like me as its been a lifesaver for me hope everyone has a great day

I feel your resolve and I want to tell you that no matter how unattractive you think you are someone will always think differently. Even of you buy a ton of good clothes if you don't feel comfortable enough in your own skin it won't feel right. I still have low confidence myself as well from being bullied but trust me one day you'll find someone and even if you don't you should learn to love yourself. Self love is most important. I love you. Have a nice day. Don't let your family discourage you from feeling valid. You are valid and you are beautiful and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. A little confidence can go a long way. Wake up every morning and tell yourself you look nice today.

Ok but why did this comment make me feel better than even the original video. Like who really cares if I am ugly? Ugly ppl get married, get promotions, and do the things they love. I also feel like ppl like me more for me than just for looks. I would add on for me, I get hit on less in clubs & bars than my friends. Which I used to think was bad but now I realize how many of those guys just aren’t that great. If I want to be ignored at a bar, I just mind my business & can enjoy myself in peace. If I want to make friends/connect I start talking & I have a decent personality/humor so ppl talk to me! And bc I haven’t been able to rely on my looks to get dates, compared to the majority of my friends I feel like I’ve done better on online dating.It’s not bc I’m inherently better but bc I’ve had to form better social skills out of necessity. I also am used to being rejected so it’s not nothing new to me.

the last point is soooo true. some people appreciate me and value me a bit too much while some try to discourage me and gossip about me.

i have really low self-esteem -- like, it's in the negative digits, I hate myself. But every time I watch these videos about people's behaviors towards a person they like or think is attractive I relate to every single point. it's really confusing for me, because I'm always waiting for psychology to affirm my being a bad person or unattractive since that's how I see myself, however it never happens? at this point, I've come to accept it because so many people mention it fleetingly as if it's common knowledge that I'm attractive or likeable, but i can't help but really question why and everytime it shocks me. this was a short rant, but thanks for reading anyways. if you relate, please comment, i'd love to know if there are many people who might feel the same. also, I'm working on my mental health, and i have a crush who is really great to me so i think I'll be okay (though i know i shouldn't depend on them to gain confidence, I'm just saying the love they demonstrate makes me happier). good luck to anyone who is struggling with anything! this is a safe space so please come talk to me or make your own individual comment! i love all of you, everyone deserves to be cherished! @@TirianOfNarnia I'm not religious, however my sibling and I both promised ourselves from a very early age never to kill ourselves. So, even though I sometimes have suicidal thoughts, it's comforting to know that however strong the urge is to end my life, I physically can't bring myself to thanks to that promise. Obviously, it's not great and probably a bit unhealthy to depend your life on one sole thing like a person or God, but if their existence, presence and love is powerful, mutual and stable enough, I think we'll be fine. In a perfect world, with perfect people, this would be 100% true. It's touching and sounds beautiful! Your writing is spot on. 👌. What a beautiful world we would have if there was no such thing as mental illness. If all people realized Love that we are given is precious and we should cherish it more than anything physical or instantly gratifying. If everyone loved others like they want to be loved. If everyone realized that when we cause pain to others, it's really ours to bear eventually. Love is the most powerful thing in the world. It can create life. It can save life. It can be the 1 thing that makes a person's life happy. If people would simply surrender to the fact that your heart is always smarter than your mind when it comes to a happy life. Love lives in the heart, and indifference, fear, shame, hopelessness, defeat...those all live in the Ego, and it's home is in our heads. So...to add to your comment: If someone wants to leave and let them go, make sure you tell them you love them first, and don't let your pride keep you from reminding them. Often, our egos cause us to spend our whole lives longing for the only person who ever filled our heart...because we are waiting to hear from THEM and our pride and egos get in the way. Nothing is more tragic than to have lived a life wondering you COULD HAVE been happy.

It normally feels like people I'm attracted to put in a lot of effort to not pay any attention to me. Like they ignore me when I try to get their attention as they walk by. Or they add you on social media just so they can unfollow you. Or they greet all your friends as you walk into a restaurant but they ignore you specifically.

I know I'm not particularly attractive, but I often notice people invading my personal space. I think it's just because I hate strangers getting too close. I'm very protective of my space

One thing I like about this channel is that you always do the animations. This will take a long time to release a video. I love the care you put into your product❤️

wow... so I am attractive. Interesting. My friends always tell me I look so pretty and my response is always "I wish I could see that" and watching this, I can relate to everything!

Theres a girl I kinda like(not in a romantic way) and we always have interesting conversations that can go on for hours. Yea I notice a lot of people in school used to stare at me and random people in public and rarely get compliments so it's very hard to tell if I look odd or good

One thing that kinda makes me feel like people find me attractive kinda is that when I ask something of people they do it and also people are just very welcoming of me and let me get away with some things. Also when I talk people smile and give me their full attention. I’ve also noticed after talking to a boy for a little bit, they always end up seeming like they like me but at the same time what if it’s all in my head. When I tell people my insecurities they seemed surprised but I also am friends with a lot of people who have a ton of insecurities that they’re very open about where I don’t normally share my insecurities

It's common for us to unconsciously take action to hide our insecurities; that's a natural defense mechanism! That's why people are surprised when you share your insecurities. The key is to share with those you trust most. They will understand your feelings and your relationship will strengthen in the process of sharing and communicating!

To me, I care much about what I don’t like about myself, but my friends are very relaxed about shortcomings or weakness. The criterion for making friends, they believe, is that if they can tolerate the shortcomings of others, they can become friends. This may be the difference between us. YOUR VOICE IS SO PRETTY

I've never had a girl display those signs to me, I think I look handsome but sometimes I think I'm boring and get sad over the thought I never had a girlfriend and don't want to face the fact that I will never get one. Having a dislike for using social media, can't call or text with my phone (thanks a lot dad), being a wimp, being geeky and also feel like I'm still a little child because I have three older siblings that all work, I have no money, no car, still follow my mom's rules, I don't swear at home but I sometimes do at school but most people are very vulgar, and no God dang facial hair. There are some girls I talk to but there friends and I highly doubt they're interested in me. The first one is Bisexual and I've kinda said some mean stuff about her interests but we still talk sometimes and joke around. Another girl is a junior we had an interest for heavy metal music and listen to the same sub genres like thrash, speed, death, early metal, and a lot of bands my brothers and I listen to until I learned she already has a boyfriend (never talked to him but I've seen him before and despite me being taller than him it looks he's capable of kicking my ass) and a Senior who I see her in a class and lunch but if we do become boyfriend and girlfriend it will be tricky since she is three years older than me and has a car and a job, but I don't know if she's in to me and we share similar interests , she laughs at my low effort jokes and I'm nice towards her and her brother. Everytime I see a person with their lover in their arms or kissing I ask my myself, can I get that? Why can't I have that? When? This felt like a long rant but it felt good typing this, and at one point I was tearing up. I'm thankful that you've read all of this and I appreciate that.

I'd say I'm good looking but I'm a very quiet person. I don't make myself approachable and usually reject interactions with others. I like it this way. That's why I always hate myself whenever I find interest in a girl, because at the end of the day, I'm better off alone.

All signs except the one about personal space fits in on my crush. The sign that’s the most noticeable is the fifth one because he rarely compliments and gives me advice. But to others he does it a lot and acts more bold for some reason. I’m gonna confess to my crush soon and by watching this video it makes me feel more convinced that he likes me back. However, there are some obstacles like I’m always the one asking him questions and so on.
