I am on my 3rd Siamese cat I would not have any other breed 1ST one lived to be 13 second one lived to be to 15Tthis sweet guy I have now will likely out live me They were all greatly appreciated and loved.

The Siamese is my favorite cat. The one that is living with me now, I've had for about 10 years, she was a stray when she moved in. ❤

Just adopted a siamese cat. He is 2 years old. I have had him for 4 days but is still hiding under my living room couch. I hope in a week or 2 he becomes more active and stops hiding. Everything you said why not to get one is why I wanted one. I want to interact with my cat. I've already spent alot of money on toys, cat trees. Treats, food trying to make him as comfortable as I can. I talk to him but, for the most part, leave him alone while he is hiding and hoping he comes around.

Rescued a purebred back in 2011. She's lazy and friendly and mainly keeps to herself. Cats are individuals.

Bruh my Siamese is the quietest, least pickiest, most cuddly, and most independent cat ive ever met. Goes on walks with the dog, who is her best friend. She's also quite a small cat but shes hunted possums, magpies, etc. She is next level and although ive desexed every single cat in my life, her desexing is one that i regretted the most. I wouldn't have minded little Lulus running around

I thinking desexing is a terrible term. We have three Siamese boys, 1 choco and 2 seals, all fixed. But they act like human boys. They can no longer procreate but their DNA is all male!

I had 3 Siamese cats years ago. They were playful, gentle to kids, and love to be cuddled and carried. You are right, they prefer people around them and they do not like to be home alone. Out of my three cats, one was talktative, the other two were just like normal cats.

I've had two and loved them dearly.

Looks like a Siamese is the best fit for me. YAY cause I adore them.

I have Siamese/tabby mix, 2 of them in fact. They look and act just as the video has described. They are always busy and follow me around all day. Loudest purr's and loudly vocal. Love them dearly

The perfect cat for me I love mine and yeah they talk more and they are curious and need to be active and have their things and toys they love to be close to family and family members and around the family and love to open and snoop into things. And yeah cuddle alot.

My Siamese has shat on my bed 3 nights in a row and has maxed his £4k annual insurance before he’s one (he’s got enteric coronavirus), but I adore him and could never stay cross with him. The cuddles and love we share is magic, the very best cats of all.

My Siamese is very quiet.. adopting her was the best decision I ever made. I got a best friend for 100$. She would sleep on my chest over my heart every night as a kitten.. and now she'll cuddle up against my leg or something. She follows me everywhere and gives me little kisses and love bites on my nose. I had depression really bad at one point and she saved me. She would sit on my lap and comfort me whenever she could. I honestly beleive our animals are gifts from God. Thank you universe for my best friend. I love you Luna ❤️

Same here we adopted ours from a shelter 2 years old and she is Very quite and does not play at all really I buy so many toys but all she wants to do is sleep and cuddle

OMC! I love and miss my Meezers; I had a wedge head and apple head. They were the two bestest cats, yes, they loved to be around the family and very entertaining. They definitely didn’t let you forget to feed them; they’d jump on my lap and start washing my face, they’d walk me their feed station, then thank me. They were just the right weight to lay on my back and and give me a massage - I didn’t teach them anything, just rolled over. Holy cat biscuits; we’d all be purring then doze off. I have so many fantastic memories of my boys; I’d love another pair, I’m always home and they wouldn’t get bored 😸

My family had a Siamese cat named Simmi and was he a hand full. We would take him upstate New York and all the way up there he would meow when we went on vacation. He lived for about 8 years, when our old tom cat died he kept looking for him and was run over by a car a block from our house which i buried. When I was in Vietnam my mother would put his paw on an ink pad and put the paw print on the letters that she wrote me. That did make laugh since I knew how hard it must of been to get him to do that and did make me feel a little bit better being over there in that hell hole.

I'm not a cat person, I;m allergic actually but I've had to live with Siamese cat for about 8 years now and tbh she's probably the best most well behaved cat we ever had, she just chills in my room and isn't annoying like the blue cat or calacogue we have

I have a siamese mix who is quiet and doesn’t care about a ton of attention. She’s not energetic either, lol. My other cat may or may not have been part siamese. She was louder and sometimes wanted attention. She was a torbie so definitely had torbitude.

Now onto the best part. Their loyalty to the family. We live in a small community. Wife was terribly sick. Police officer came in to do triage. He tried to check her BP on her arm. Being a dialysis patient, wife tried saying no but to do her leg. Cat heard no twice. Attacked and latched onto Police officers weapon. Once shoed away. Cat came from underneath the bed and wrapped himself around the officers ankle biting. (Policeman was wearing 3/4 boots that day) My third siamese I've had. Now later we also have savannas, carcals and servals. Endless variations of Cat chatter and hissing in our home

Adopting my flame point saimese was the best cat that ever happened to me because i found out how much money he was worth 15,000 dollars and i got him at a rescue for 75 dollars only.

My Siamese is very talkative sure but it's my favorite part. She's really got a personality on her. I did get another cat bc she needed to more attention than I could give her lol. But she is a wonderful pet and I adore her and she adores me.

All reasons boil down to: "when they're bored, they're AHs". I can confirm these traits in my current cat. I had two siamese cats before. They were easy going, lovely, friendly and chill. The one I have now is Satan's spawn. He bullied every single cat to the point that I had to make very difficult arragements to bring him to live with me, would randomly scratch and bite in a fit of rage, to the point where stitches were required... but at least he got rid of all the dogs that come in my yard... so yeah, he works for me

My loving senior female is a flame-point Siamese/Tabby mix with the cream coat, dilute facial mask, darker stiff large ears and blue eyes. Her voice and purr are soft, and she only ever makes demands to play. She quietly stays in bed with me for however long I sleep, and is quite happy as my only 'child'.

My Siamese is very quiet, he does get into things though.

My family was given a pedigreed blue-point by my mum's workmate. Though cut he was a magnificent "character". I've only ever had Siamese since him. You are correct about them being energetic: they need access to the outdoors (as well as indoors) to generate adventures and excitement of their own. And that will probably include interactions with angry dogs/cats/neighbours. Our next Siamese we took to live on a farm and he was occasionally sighted walking through the long grass on neighbouring farms miles away from home base. Many people proudly come out of the closet as "cat lovers" but I disperse such small fry when I challenge them with the sentry password: "Siamese!"

I have a seal point Siamese. Named Donatella. I gave her that name because it fits her personality and attitude. She is a bossy cat but still so lovely. Oh and dont even ask about if she talks. Some days i will never hear the end of it. From room to room telling me her life story. A very complex personality and dangerously intelligent. Many cats fall for lasers. My cat figured that nonsense out in two days. She looks at me when I point a laser and is not amused. One thing, my cat absolutely hates other cats. She likes people though. Female Siamese are extremely territorial.

My Siamese fits right along with the video. He is very hyperactive and so clingy that he works in between my feet everywhere. He wants to go to the bathroom with me. He races in there so I have to put them out and hurry up and close the door. He waits there for me to come out. He follows me up the stairs and will stop halfway and lay down in person so that he can get a rub. He wants to sleep in the bed with me, but only right by my head. Being close to my chest isn’t good enough for him. he also likes to chew the carpet. I love his purse though. They are very loud and sound like a car stereo with extra base in the trunk. He wakes me up every morning at 6 AM on the dot.

I got a Siamese in June. He was the sweetest wee guy ever. Spending time on him didn't bother me, as Im didabled and in the house most of the time. Fast forward to now and he's destroying everytjing he sees. He's tearing bed covers, etc. Unfortunately, I can't put up with that and him running under my feet all the time. He'll be going to a new home.

My Siamese sleeps with me every night, not by my face, which I would love. She sleeps by my stomach. All night.

My rescue wants love on its time and dont like to be picked up I'm adopting another rescue and hope they get along i miss my ragdoll best breed ever. This rescue is a lover boy like my ragdoll

Siamese do like some boiled veggies specially pumkies, brocoli . I had this blue point siamese that my daughter gave me , He died of old age but he lives longer than any other pedigree cat. He was so well fed because i am a pensioner so my husband and i could dedicate all our time to him. He 😊 did like a little bit of veggies like a piece of the heart of an architoke from time to time. I also boiled a small piece of pumkie and mush it every two days because he like it warm but not hot of that pumkie puree. He used to ask for a litle bit of warm fresh brocoli. I used to give him chicken and beef from time to time nice and warm. If they smelled natural food they will ask you . After he was eaten he would sing a melody tune . Other time he would change the tune and was noisy. When he was diying in my bed i hola his little hand taking gente and just died. He was so happy and play with the other cat and was never lonely because we don't work so we were there serving him all the time

There is a long list of reasons why you SHOULD have a Siamese. If you've ever known the love of a Siamese, you will know what I mean. If not ... well, try it.

they are not energetic as you said , the one i had its a very lazy cat .as well as it was vegetarian ...doesn't eat meat much ...only fresh vegetables

Don't listen to anyone who says do not get a Siamese. The Siamese, The Orange Tabby and Black Cat are three of the sweetest breeds plus the Rag Doll.

Thailand has a couple of lovely breeds. The Siamese and the Korat to name two... and all the breeds are very vocal. Often you see them at royal and religious temples.

This video is false. Our 3 year old purebred chocolate point traditional Applehead is outgoing, brave, loves to go outside, extremely vocal, and spends all day with his peeps. Conveniently he grows at strangers coming to the door. Our 6 year old purebred seal point Applehead is however shy, quiet, and hides when strangers come and when he hears his crate thinking a vet visit is coming😢. He hates going outside and is scared of his own shadow. Very very differently personalities!

I think that's true about independence. My Siamese Cat wanted me to stay with her until she gave birth to her kittens. We lay on my bed. Every time I got up and wanted to go outside, she jumped down, ran behind me with loud meows and a bloodied pussy, and wanted me to go back on the bed with her. After they grew up a little She would put her 5 kittens between my legs at night to sleep, and during the day she would bring me 2-3 kittens to babysit and she would go back to the rest 🤣 She even tried to have sex with her boyfriend on my lap. He was a Siamese Cat also.
