Really? While the older Fords actually are quite good, the newer ones are complete shit.... ESPECIALLY the trucks. The powerstroke has been a pile of shit for years now. Ford fucked up the spark plugs on the triton V8... TWICE. Not only are they unreliable, they are difficult to work on because Ford intentionally makes them difficult to service so nobody will even attempt to work on them. I'll happily drive an older Ford.... But I'll never own another newer one.

Honda has a good reliability track record because when Honda was founded they made bikes and when they did eventually make the switch to 4 wheels they knew what they was doing and stayed throughout the company's life with a tried and true method of building mechanical parts. None of this tricky voodoo stuff that other companies use. It's not broke. So why fix it?

While I am surprised that Dodge is on his list, my Challenger had no issues during the short time I had it before I traded it for a Durango. I honestly believe the health of the car is dependent on how well the owner takes care of it. If he or she babies it and does the routine maintenance, the car will last for a long time. However, lengthy negligence can ruin a car very quickly. As a car guy, I treat my vehicles with the upmost care as they are investments.
