My Shih Tzu is 3 years old and isn’t afraid of anything. Loves all people and absolutely loves car rides and loves his baths and being groomed. Also loves being blow dried. It’s funny because when I dry my hair he comes running to share the hair dryer with him 🤣. He even likes the vacuum lol. So all facts in the video isn’t true with my Shih Tzu. I’m one proud mama and he never leaves my side. I love him he’s my world.

My shih tzu is a lil fur ball of energy , just because it peed in the house my parents want to send it away… that’s why I’m determined to train my pup as long as I have summer holidays

thanks for this video. I have an 8 month old Shorkie. He looks very Shih-Tzu in the face and fluff, but her prominent personality characteristic are a rambunctious Yorkie. Many of your issues are somewhat prominent in Maxi, but the Yorkie counteracts much of it. No fear at all of thunder or fireworks.

@@ShihTzuCareChannel Thank you for the reply!!! Well, he just turned 8 years old last month and his exaggerated startle response hasn't gotten any better, and I hate giving him drugs. We just went too the park for a walk and the wind was blowing too hard making too much noise in the trees so we had to turn around and find an area that was sheltered a little. He can be a handful but I love him.

I have a shih tzu, hes a puppy, My auntie have 4puppy shih tzu, and when im arrived in my grandma (my dads moms house) well. The shih tzu appear barking when im arrived,❤❤❤❤, when i have a shih tzu i have to be careful to take care of him, and thank you ❤❤❤❤

My shih tzu are not afraid of tunder or fireworks, but her mom has. However, she is afraid of other dogs .... not sure why. During walks, she hides behind me every time we cross with other dog. Just when I go into my family home she is ok on spending time with other dogs and cats. She hardly bark also ....

It sounds like your Shih Tzu might have social anxiety with unfamiliar dogs; positive reinforcement training and gradual exposure to new dogs in a controlled environment could help her feel more comfortable.

I am confused that shih tzu or golden retrever wich is better.
