Awww the way he runs after the broom is adorable. It’s not so much a run as it is a trot which makes it cuter

Forever will be a shih tzu owner! The kindest sweetest little angels. My 17 year old shih tzu is in wonderful health and still plays/acts like she’s a baby :)

As a dog trainer and dog owner coach, ALL of my dog's learn that chin/cheek hold you used for trimming his face. We teach that holding the face in that manner means to stay calm and still for a short time to tolerate being handled by either a vet or groomer. It's so important to do this on a table multiple times a day as a training exercise for all puppies! The more you oracyice, the more tolerant and chill your dog will be at the vet and groomer.

My grandfather’s shih-tzu was named Joey. They are both gone now, but you made me remember them and all the good times I had with them

Shows the importance of early grooming even though it doesn’t look as though there is much to do puppies are so active they need an experienced groomer to lay the groundwork for future visits to the groomer. He was so good and cute too!
