This drum pattern starting around 1:55 is insane. Love it! Also - the snare!!!
I'm a drummer myself and had the weirdest dream last night; I stood behind ZZ Top playing in an empty black room and when F Beard finished and walked off I said: "Wow, I love that you got so many TAMA Octobans, they've really made a comeback!", and he said "Yeah, they've never been out man" and laughed.

yes my MAHN! he's one of my favourite drummers and love his music aswell thanks DRUMEO for inviting him to your studio
I remember Alex Rudinger playing along to this song back it in the day. Kaz' take on it is so different but cool!

This version is cool; it’s a style of playing I’m less used to and there’s some interesting textures and note placements. Alex’s version is nothing short of phenomenal.
Well damn, Kaz!!!!!!!! I don't know if I should go and shed this track or just give up on drums forever😂
Yoooo I love this because it’s so easy to find the groove and stay on
Amazing, pure talent
Thank you Kaz Rodriguez. For the song
This should go into a video game. Like some japanese fighting game.
That kit is so BEAUTIFUL!!

It's Tama Starclassic bro ❤️
That’s a Tama SLP G Maple 13x7. I have that snare. WHAT HEADS ARE ON IT, I need to know how to get that sound out of it 😂
Both the jacket and the snare are SUPERDRY..

The snare is relatively cheap for what it’s worth, really. Tama SLP G Maple 13x7, picked one up from SamAsh for $239.99 I think

Wow, that's great!! kzread.info/dash/bejne/enalyMGRddi2pLA.html "7 Mindgames," played by 12-year-old South Korean boy. so cute! :)
Your awsome dudes!!!!
Incredible
Does anyone know a drummer like Kaz Rodrigues who also makes these compositions in the symphonic metal style?
Amazing
That snare
Your passion bro the best thing about your playing

Revelation Music Channel Limijaya yep, so there 4 bars of 3:4 time, followed by one measure of just 1:4/1:3 (however you want to interpret that) or, you can also say there are 3 bars of 3:4 time and there is 1 one bar of 4/4, that would involve some metric modulation tho with the background beat. what he did right here happens a couple of times in the song.
this is so good!
awesome !!! can please invite chris coleman ? please
sounds good🎵
superb playin i think the snare tuned too high and thin for the track...
Been drumming for 5 years, never heard a snare tuned like that

That snare sounds awsome

It sounds tight and choked. He's sinking the tips into the head, killing the tone.

Jason Cavitt some people want less time and more impact and KAT from snares lol it’s all subjective
I can't tell what's the time signature lol

7/8 it's just sometimes he's playing straight over it so it's hard to catch but sounds so damn good. Never stop playing 😉

I can clearly hear the sound of Lars' St Anger snare...
Some killer fills over 7. Hate the snare tone though.

I prefer the composition on the cover by Alex Rudinger, who by the way he should be invited to Drumeo.
Snare drum and track's "snare drum" conflict. Listen back Kaz.

I think that was intentional in Kaz’s interpretation (of his own track.)

@@MusaTariq25 totally agree ! Kaz 100% knows what he is doing
Why ? Kaz its cool xD
Cool
Does anybody know the name of the song playing at the end of this video?
You should invite samy morales the drummer as a guest he is a very good drummer
Like 😍😍😍
muka nya kaya gusti Hrendy kalo pas lagi ngedrum haha
Real slick but Alex Rudinger's interpretation sounds tighter and more varied with the double bass grooves! I wonder what this guy could do if he played double bass?!🙂

it's great to hear both versions,, Kaz plays it more fusion like, and Alex is more on the prog metal side of things
That hihat sound though
great stuff but Alex Rudinger interpretation of this is better IMO
@sergiozdrums
2 жыл бұрын
i would not say it's better. Kaz interpretation is more fusion jazz like... free solo.... and Alex is more on the prog metal more scripted per se... and the end of the day it's a matter of taste. me personally like this version better
J Rod is probably the best version. This interpretation was rather poor in my opinion. Sorry.
