Hey Jonas, cheers for the mention!. BB;s 'Contact' was a big one for me, as it was the opening track on David Holmes 1998 Essential Mix compilation CD. Well worth checking the tracklist out for that, some fairly psychadelic sevemties stuff in that mix. Unfortunately never had a vinyl release.

this was great. The Scientists single is massive, I do have a reproduction single of that. Incredible song. Same goes for the Bardot track, incredible though I do not have. Wow, word is out on that Minders. "Build" is a secret dj track for me. Insanely catchy song. Enjoyed all of this, nice work

Haha, sorry for outing your secret DJ track! 😂 I know, it's an instantly catchy and cool track. I actually found out about it quite recently, and this is the best thing with collecting records, you'll find new stuff all the time. The source is endlessly deep. Cheers!

I have the first 7" by Apples In Stereo when they were just The Apples. Nice. Flying Nun, 3Ds..yes to them. I've been working my way through my 45s/7" collection starting in 1950 and going forward. I'm in 1966 now and wow..what a year! Garage and soul! Psych entering the sound. I have thousands of 7" and I'm trying to decrease the number. Doubles, records that I don't need or not great sound quality are going out the door. Many will go to thrift stores and some to a guy who sells 45s of mine and gives me credit and lastly to a generous store that I visit a couple of times a year. I'm a long way from stores so discogs and eBay are my friends.

Very cool! I don't have the Tidal Wave EP by The Apples, but it's on my wantlist. I love their early stuff. Sounds like you have a huge collection of singles, must be a lot of fun going through them. And yes, 1966 was a great year for singles! Cheers!

Hello Jonas, been watching your last few videos. Very interesting. You are right in my wheelhouse with singles. Nice stack of 45s. The Scientists 45 is a real monster! The Favourite Sons = killer killer freakbeat slab. Very nice! Cool stuff, look forward to seeing some more of your singles in the future. Cheers

I have a radio show on a local university radio station and singles are best for DJing as I don’t have to haul have LP’s or hunt for a track in the middle of side 1 and accidentally play the wrong one, especially hard with coloured vinyl. Singles are fun, I always had a small collection but it has recently grown into about 300, I especially love punk singles and indie rock bands from the 90’s because they were still sending out singles for airplay on radio stations. You should definitely do a part 2 & 3 to this video

I have around 300 singles myself. My love for these small records has grown over the years. And they are great for DJing. I will definitely do more videos about singles. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Singles could be fun to. The Mekons single here was really cool. Leaving here by Eddie Holland and the Who also did it. Thought manifestos was for terrorist ...
