"cheese machine" is the old colloquial term for the string machines of the 70s, a particular breed of synths that were supposed to replicated string sounds using a technique known as divide-down oscilators, obviously they never got close to real sound but they have a distinct sound now.

The free plugin that recommend is Prisma, a multiband distortion (up to 4 bands instead of 3) that you can add soft, hard clip, sample divide and pan the certain frequencies that doesn’t do one internal sound.

Thank you very much and great question! I think the world of making music with computers is still confined to the grid and sqaureness of every DAW. Any hypothetical plugin that could break out of that mould and offer producers an alternative way to get creative would be great! Equally each and every DAW could put some effort into this too, the responsibility falls on everyone, not just plugin companies. I like to imagine a sonic sandbox where audio knows no bounds. What exactly that means or looks like, i'm not sure. However I believe somebody can work it out haha Anything you'd like to see my friend?

Great question dude! The separate dry and wet knobs allow you to apply the plugin directly to the channel. So you can use the EQ on just the reverb very easily. I hope im explaining it well but yea just play around with those knobs and youll understand what i mean. Thanks for the comment my friend💪

Hey my friend, yes they can do that. But if you don’t understand the difference yet that’s all cool, that just means you need to play with the DAW stock plugins until you understand them and know their limitations. Then you’ll understand why sometimes these additional plugins are useful! I know that doesn’t answer your question exactly but it’s the best advice I can give💪

That’s all good my friend, it can be very confusing to start. Your best option in that scenario is typing into KZread “how to make edm music in reaper” and hopefully there’s some videos that fit that description, hope that helps!

the gameboy plugin has a trojan, my PC blocks the installation and I upload it on virus total and it was marked as a trojan virus.

Thats so weird! The company literally commented on the video a couple hours ago saying thanks for including it in the video haha Looks like they have had a complete website overhaul, ive changed the link in the description to the new correct web address.
