Thank you very helpful I’m a mother of a 24 young man junior in college finance degree but he has a vision impairment and I want him to show he can dress to impress as he is trying to get his foot started in his life. He is going on his first business trip it’s school related but could lead to other stuff so I want to make sure he starts off right and not people only seeing him for his disability which is his very limited vision and cerebral palsy. This totally helps me help buy him those first impression that match his confidence he already has. ❤

That was a good summary of how to meet a business casual dress code. The advice on how to look stylish was mentioned at 7:16. Have the right fit/tailoring. Without that, it's still business casual, but it just doesn't look sharp.

Thank you for the informative video. A little bit of my story: I had a job interview to work for the Lakers organization and I did well on the interview. However, I didn’t get the job. I wasn’t dressed to the occasion, they asked for business casual and at the time, I didn’t have the money so I just threw something together last minute. Now that I have the time and money, I wanted to learn how to pull off the business casual look. I got on KZread and searched “Black man business casual” and found this video. I’m glad I did. Can’t wait to buy new outfits and see how far I can take this once I learn the ropes and start to do my own thing

@@jamesmonto9562 in my experience fast fashion lasts 1-2 years but it works out to be less money overall anyway by a lot. If you can afford the luxury brands then buy them. I personally like banana republic these days but when I started out I got my entire work attire from Marshall’s, H&M, ASOS, and Zara. I still have pieces from each, but I prefer banana republic style because it works with my work dress code more these days. It’s really up to your budget at the end of the day

Well all good and fine, but where do I buy those?! All the shop's I know sell them with colours that are way to bright or they don't fit me. And when I search online for an iceblue shirt its either a 150€ shirt or it has some logo on it.

The only problem I have with business casual is the shirts and can they have a logo/design. Of course nothing to crazy but maybe a lil one on the heart pocket. I’m stuck in the 90’s. I’ve tried the look with no sock and pants above ankle. That s*** does not work for me. I’m not rocking long wide legged Steve Harvey pants either.

THANK GOD I don't live in the US where this is normal. My boss, and we're talking a giant international engineering company, wears a used t-shirt and jeans. Even shorts. And so do I. Else it's chinos and a shirt.

Important point: if business casual clothes aren't tailored well, you will look awful so make sure you have a more "modern," fit.

Sound advice but when I think BUSINESS casual, I'm thinking more on the formal side with causal being the lesser of the 2. This looks more on the causal end. IMO the unbuttoned shirt and tattoo peaking would not be allowed at 90% of businesses, maybe at a evening party.

Rule #1: Be jacked

whoever came up with the male capris dress pants needs smacked. Nothing professional about no socks and hairy ankle bones hanging out. These hipsters may like it but when you walk into a room full of executives you lose respect. Learn how to dress like a true professional and gentleman.

Advice well take. Need not to have TATTOOS. Tattoos make you look GETTO.
