I'd agree with the Ducati Scrambler over the Triumph. The Triumph has the more authentic retro looks but the Ducati has the performance. Which is why I bought the Ducati, and don't intend to sell it till they bring the 937 version out. While they are similarly priced new, the Ducati is a bargain used, probably as people fear the belt and desmo service at 5 years or 7,500 miles. So, if buying used make sure this is done, or in the deal.

The Rebel 11 is a pretty good bike, not withstanding the not too big fuel tank and gauge that lies a lot. . . . I fitted a Vance & Hines slip-on to ours which definetely alleviated some of it's bland persona!

All great choices, except the Royal Enfield. The Intercepter really compeats with 350s with it's anemic power and it's fit and finish comes in way below the 350s from Japan and Austria. Hard to see the RE as a bargain when compared to so many 350s and 400 that out perform it. The Guzzi, on the other hand was a bold choice; got one in my collection and it's all you say and then some.

The Himalayan is getting a slight boost in power for 2024, I believe. Bumped to a 450cc. There are also lots of videos swapping out the front sprocket in favor of a 16 tooth one. Supposedly, it helps out the top end on the road and minimal change to off-road capability.

I also sat on a Yamaha XVS950 V-Star Bolt, another lovely bike and I love the low centre of gravity, doesn't make the bike feel heavy like the more upright bikes, I really don't like that higher position.
