At 1:13, the person that was filming was said to have died from the wood flying from the ship to he,s face. The wood then punctured hes left eyeball, very very tragic

Most of them are in the BeNeLux countries in Europe. The NOAA ship was built at Manitowoc in Wisconsin. They are launched sideways into rivers and towed to the deeper waters in the sea.
