Hello, I have an mq160 patrol running an sd33, but I want to swap in a 6bt engine, can my oem 5 speed sd33 manual gearbox handle the 6bt engine. I can do adaptors plate myself

@@benmartin3733 just the engine itself. that's from TexStar in the USA, but their prices will have gone up since. Worth noting that pretty much nothing on my engine was useable - alternator, A/C comp, turbo, injectors, P-pump, lift pump, every seal and gasket, all of it was totally knackered. High mileage and neglect. You would probably get a nicer engine normally, but I got the 215hp model p pump 12 valve for no extra cost - the condition it was in would be why.
