This video has a lot of inaccuracies and some things aren’t fully explained so I thought I’d correct some stuff 1:56 deadlocked actually used to have a much worse bug that got fixed in a mini update where you went through the entire first wave as a cube. This was actually how the first victor (with proof) of deadlocked, Zobros beat it on his channel. 3:03 the “friends” tab got added the same update accounts (and therefore friends) got added. And the “top week” tab got removed because it was just filled with hackers. 2:36 can confirm this is 100% accurate 4:06 I don’t know why he sometimes mentions the exact dates and other times only says “back then” or “earlier updates” the notification sound being pitched up for every achievement was added in 2.2.0 4:32 “in 1.0” is pretty misleading. You can change your username any time on an unregistered account to this day. And you have never been able to instantly change your username on a registered account 4:48 I don’t know why you used stereo madness as the example since the first 10 levels use this block. Also this is wrong, the half block in stereo madness can be made by going to the block you showed at 5:11, clicking detail. Then changing the color channel used, to black. But I know you know this and are just trying to extend the runtime 5:45 geometry dash never got removed from the Googleplay store (well actually it did in July of 2023 but that’s it’s own thing) robtop got scared because *other* games were getting deleted because of this 7:46 good job, you didn’t even get the year right. The everyplay servers got shut down on october 1st 2018. With all the videos uploaded to it being lost to time. But you could still use the record feature on mobile if you turned off your wifi all the way up until 2.2 where the record button got removed. 8:06 the discount got added in 2.201 (or 2.205 for mobile players) also the diamond keeper and the mechanic also got a discount on all of their items with the extra orbs you would have saved being returned if you had already bought them 8:18 that’s such a weird thing to say just to add a few more seconds?!? Like “back then a thing that got added hadnt gotten added yet” like wow, big surprise. (The speed portals got added with the update of electrodynamix 1.7 btw) 9:07 that’s also an incredibly weird fact to add. Like are your videos AI generated? Cause there’s no way someone who plays geometry dash and makes KZread videos would writes that in the script and go “yeah this seems like a meaningful addition to the video” 10:54 the magic tab has always been unclear with its requirements, it got added in 2.1 and originally was a list of levels with over 10K objects sorted by most recent. But that later got changed to levels with 30 hours in the editor, 20k objects, long length, a move trigger and ldm. Some other theorized requirements were that it’s objects couldn’t be too densely packed 20+ color channels 100+ groups Level couldn’t be copied unless a huge number of the objects were replaced 20+ hours in the editor of the level All of the requirement were theorized and never confirmed as far as I’m aware and in late 2.1 the requirement got changed again to just be sent by a mod 12:55 no, a level does not need to be extremely long for this to be possible. **the shortest I could do this with a level in testing was 6 seconds but it could probably be done shorter. Either way this is just another misleading waboo fact** 13:13 this is true. It was “removed” back in 1.1 but was still possible up until 1.2 which is how one of the first humanly impossible levels (at the time) the hell world by sohn0924 was made 15:53 it changes the ground to the same color selected, kinda like copy and paste color. But it’s funny you said “nobody knows” 17:07 this would have been false if you hadn’t said “one of”. While robtop changing levels in some way or another isn’t a common occurance it has still happened to many levels in the past 17:17 “Back in the day” lol it was 4 months ago. If you’re interested, the order each stat point got added are 1.0 only stars and creator points 1.2 demons got added 1.6 secret coins get added 2.0 user coins get added 2.1 diamonds get added 2.200 moons get added 2.201 (or 2.205 for mobile players) diamonds get removed and can only be seen by clicking the i next to the name of the user Waboo if you’re reading this as much as I have criticized the choices you’ve madeI don’t mean any hate with this. You’re $1000 creator constest was sick and I am commenting this for both you to improve and to raise awareness of the misinformation in this video. The 99% fail achievement was/(is?) only possible to be obtained through doing it on an official level. In 1.8, the only official level where that was possible to do was Electrodynamix. Also, the method how percentages are calculated in the game has definitely changed after that. During pre 2.0, dying at 99% was extremely uncommon. In 1.8 there really were no XL levels either.

There is literally so much information available about all this stuff how do you mess this up?

Small correction to 63: there was actually another level that was renamed, that was originally called "mindfuuck" and RobTop changed it to "mindfunk". It's an old auto level, so not a lot of people know about that. The funny part is that it was rated like that for years, before RobTop eventually changed the name

11:04 It used to show the unregistered username but now its changed into a single minus character because of someone transferred all the unregistered users to a single account called "TeamHax". It includes their levels and their comments. The unregistered users got their levels restored and changed into a single minus character and to this day, the comments are on the " TeamHax" account. An actual fact that waboo DOESNT know 🤓

Some of these I actually completely forgot about. It's so subtle, but I really miss some of these. A lot of these are hidden memories that we're just unlocked, like the square color unlock, and the Tint Ground option. I miss those. A lot of these were removed in 2.1 if I remember correctly. One other thing, when 2.0 came out on mobile, there was a bug in the editor that hasn't been fixed since. When you zoom out far enough, some of the outlines on objects disappear, which is weird because this never happened in 1.9. It kinda just became a thing. I remember it clearly. Also, I remember playing a 2.0 level in 1.9, and for some reason, the move triggers were working, along with the new fonts that were added. It was really odd.

Fact 37. The magic tab wasn't replaced, its still here. In 2.11, on the top row there were only two buttons "Most downloaded and Most Liked" and the sent tab was added in 2.2. It didnt replace Magic Fact. 55: the tint ground option just changed both the BG and the Ground to the same color

I mainly don't remember them all because I first started playing GD on the lite version. I don't remember when exactly I started playing (i just know it's somwhere within 2013-2014), but I didn't get full version until 1.9.

if you copy the old color trigger, you can use the "tint ground". ive used it, and what it does is change the ground to a darker version of the background

A thing forgot:base after base has a spike on the floor that is removed and the spike was in gd 1.0 and is removed in 1.1

This will get a heart by waboo like so he dose

Btw the area tint was removed because now we can just make the ground copy colour of the background and it basically did just that🤓

Another glitch for 2.2 is the teleport orbs sometimes don’t work in the editor

I noticed the main level difficulties being changed from harder to easier, like since 1.9 released, Dry Out went from harder to normal for example. Old player here. I miss "top week". Also, you can still change your name on the spot. You were never able to do this with a proper user account though (introduced in 2.0), only with the previous UUID based account system. That's because the name wasn't really used for anything at all, except to tell the user who the player is. Which, was flawed, since you could impersonate anyone.

My geometry dash games on my tablet have the square shaped achievement, more games thing, and the renaming button. Not outdated 😁

the font was like that only on high resolution screens, on my iphone 5s it looks normal even in 1.0

These features and bugs bring me back to the good times when i would celebrate over beating Clutterfunk and Unity

I found out the one icon u get from clicking it on the menu u can get for conpleting one list now

achievement sounds actually increase in pitch with every achievement thats played in this same amount of time! no clue about the limit, but some modders should test it, giving player every achievement and seeing how high the sound goes :D
