Totally agree. Open the rack a bit. Had to do it all the time with an old Sulzer or it wouldn’t start.

Now that you got that engine running put it with my collection and install a step-down transformer, two pantographs in place of exhaust ports, and install other related electrical components, cooling blowers, and turn that puppy into an ELECTRIC! Cleaner, more efficient, and environmental! (I would run that diesel on hydrogen gas only in my collection only as art)!
