37685 first start since Jan 2005

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is 37685s first start since Jan 2005. The first attempt was called off because only 1 starter motor was working. After the other starter was fixed she still took some time to start. The popping and black smoke is us testing all cylinders are firing. It settled down nicely with 65 psi of oil pressure. BEAST!!!
37685 should be appearing on a railtour near you very soon.

I was puzzled, but later found out it was waiting to pick up an empty timber wagon from the local timber mechant, I didn't know there was a line there. And I worked for BR at the time.

Clear. Clear! That's # One! Two! 3! 4! Clean out the cylinder. 5 Run. I have to ask, why when they were cranking the engine over didn't they have half of the cylinder test ports open to make it easier to get cranked?
