sir ive solved quite a few vector questions before this, so id like to say im pretty good at it. But, im a bit confused 13:57 you said u need to find another expression for OQ but why are we giving so mcuh importance to OQ when the question says AQ??

We have to equate coefficients so we need to find AQ using 2 different paths so we use the intersection point

We could use AQ rather than OQ and still come to the correct answer. Ultimately we need to find to expressions for the same vector that gets us to the intersection point. One that includes Lambda and one that includes Mu. I always use the origin and the intersection point. Just out of habit, but also to simplify the method so students can follow a similar process each time.

If the first one is a regular hectagon then why isn’t AB = BC 😭
