I just started playing and it’s like it completed me. When it starts flowing and you’re jamming it’s like it takes over your soul. Your whole body wants to move with the chords. Hendrix released that first album with the experience 10 years after picking up a guitar. He didn't have KZread, teachers, or anything. Did it all by ear. The way he foundout how to tune his guitar properly was he walked to a music store, plucked each string on a guitar at the store, memorized the sound of each string and walked back home to tune his guitar to what he heard.

Why do the strings hurt my fingers so much? HOW DO PEOPLE DO THIS?" Eventually I went over my finger placement through videos, and that really helped. @@dylannoonan260 My comment by no means suggested that she was born with a guitar in her hand. If you follow her progression of all the videos she's released over the years, you will see how much hard work she's put into achieving her admirable and insane level of ingenuity. Using the phrase "natural talent" refers to her astute decision to pursue music (whether this is a hobby or a career, etc) and sharing with the world experience a talent (also known as a "skill") that she holds. There are many of us with an inherent, natural ability in certain fields that surpasses others. It's why some choose to pursue and excel in art or music versus construction and engine re-building versus optical physics or neuroscience. Everyone has a set of natural talents; it's whether we choose to feed our natural abilities to become something timeless, or choose to pursue a settled, more standard prescribed path in life and remain mediocre. *Edited for typo on "fields"

damn, this is exactly what I needed to see today to pick up my guitar and continue my journey of learning it/teaching myself... tryin to live that jam life---- wondering what you used to teach yourself, if you're cool with sharing? or if you kinda just learned by ear and playing songs. much love to you and your journey tho. musicianship is such a beautiful thing to have/be a part of.

learn a song you like and look up what makes the song (Scales/chords) and learn that. just play your guitar at least 15 minutes a day and youll get way better than playing 5 hours one day a month
You motivated me so much

Great! That’s what I loved about the guitar... the progress and getting better! It’s undeniable!! It’s what keeps me going.
What kinds of resources did you use to teach yourself? Trying to learn more 🥵
Wow what was you playing on the last clip? I need to hear this.

If u try...U DEFINITELY CAN!! U may feel demotivated first (or somthn like that) . But remember why u started.. Challenge yourself. Remember, age doesn't matter 😊

Ok but…how was 2016 six years ago? 😭
The 2021 stuff is fire. That’s how I wanna play. Reminds me of Kurt Vile’s arpeggios. I’m on my first day of trying to learn acoustic guitar. Practiced for 2 hours and now my back and fingers need a break. I didn’t improve much lol. I’ll give it a more scholarly try tomorrow, with the metronome and all that.
Those last pieces sound amazing!
