Hello, a tip: start reading tabs , electric guitarists generally don't use chords much, not like acoustic ones that are used there. Most (if not all) guitar songs use tablature. I also recommend you study the theoretical part, it will be easier for you Sorry x my bad english is not my first Language ヾ(^-^)ノ good video

I Disagree !!! Electric guitarist all know how to play chords. Chords are fundamental to playing the guitar. Tab is very useful for playing small fingerstyle riffs (The melody of the song) however, to be good at the guitar and not just know how to play one song you will want to learn chords. The best way to learn guitar (if i could start over again) is: 1. Learn to hold down individual notes first (Hold them down with the lowest amount of pressure while having a clean not buzzing sound) 2. Learn to play basic chords (Chords are just a combination of notes. Most pop songs are played using 4 chords), learn to play G, Em, D, C 3. Practice changing between those 4 chords as fast as you can 4. Play any song you like !!!! (At this point of knowing only 4 chords you can play 100's of songs, search for any 4 chord song you like) 5. Keep practising off youtube videos while learning more chords

I also recommend yt way more than any app tbh. idk if you like cigarette daydreams but i looked it up and it was the first song i learnt. you should also try doing scales like the pentatonic and practice slides, vibratos etc. i wish you luck on your journey, the beginning can be really hard and frustrating but its really worth it !!

To fix the E string u first have to takeout the string (by loosing its tuning peg and taking it out from the back) then put the bridge saddle(that contorted rectangular thing) back in place and adjust the height of the string with a small tool shaped as an L, that often comes with the guitar kit, by inserting it inside the two holes of the saddle. Here’s a video to make it easier to understand: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pqKK19iompa9iNY.html

Just discovered the video, cool you want to learn the guitar... The slanted thing on your guitar bridge is called "saddle" - you need an "Allen Key" in the right size (maybe 1,5mm(?)) for those screws. You also set up the saddle/string height with these screws. Also be careful not to press too hard on the strings, the notes will go slightly sharp if you do. And it hurts more...

just some tips!! - you’re not supposed to be pressing that hard that your fingers have groove - when you’re strumming, move your wrist, not your arm. just be more fluid. - for fretting try to have some fingers down, for example if you’re playing “2” on E keep that finger down, if you’re then playing “3” on E and then “2” you already have the “2” finger down so it’s less energy and moving around - id also recommend the spider walk to improve accuracy and speed! lmk if that doesn’t make sense
You guys who play guitar literally inspire me so much no cap. I want to buy a electric guitar so baddd. Anyways new sub! :)))

It's really refreshing to see a fellow beginner guitarist struggeling but also discovering the joy of creating music. Usually the algorithm recommends me the super talented people who apparently pick up the guitar and are able to play chords flawlessly in a matter of a month, which I found to be extremly frustrating to watch. So thank you for portraying your progress so authentic. Also, I'd recommend getting a teacher if possible. This helped me achieve way better progress.
personally, i think that using fender play is a really great app to use for learning how to play the guitar! it helps you with rhythm, chords, and sm more :) also, a great way to remember the string letters is ‘easter bunnies get dizzy at easter’ EBGDAE (from high e going up to low e) i hope this helps, although you posted this 6 months ago lolol :D
Hey! How’s the journey? Vlogging is such a cool way to look back and see how far you’ve come since you first started out. I know you don’t want your nails shorts, but it’s essential to have short nails on the fretting hand so you can position your finger the correct way and won’t injured your hand (and better reach overall). Btw it’s my first time discover you channel and you’re so pretty.
its been one years, wheres the update or clickbait
The video's so cute, makes me remember the time when I started playing the electric guitar. Been 4 years and I'm still in love with the instrument 😊
still wating for new ep for this... I have been a guitarist for 8 years, so I find it kinda fun to watch beginners learn where they need to go and have fun tho

omgg this vid was great!! I started learning around 3 years ago actually playing and playing (im self taught as well) and I am able to play a lot better now and even solos and everything, dont give up!! I hope to see a part two of this soon!! :D.
Hellooo! If you are new to playing electric guitar, try getting some chords and pentatonic scales in with your learning! (trust me, they really help..and yes, your fingers can sometimes get purple-ish and you'll get corns on your fingers time to time with practice, annoying smh) Good luck on your journey!
This was really cute! Reminds me of when I first got mine. Good luck on your journey of learning guitar 🥰
Just a tip for the future, but buying new gear is not always the best option, at the end of the day it all comes from your fingers and better gear wont make you play better 99% of the time. It is hard to realize this as a beginner but its a marathon not a sprint! Of course you want something you like and having a couple guitars is not an issue but its very easy to get lost in buying new gear all the time. But its also awesome seeing people learn, it is not easy, so hopefully you continue on your journey.

You'll make progress so much faster and especially when you have no other musical experience it's really hard to know what to learn because you don't really have an understanding of music yet. Without someone to guide you it's easy to burn out and be frustrated. I found a teacher who gives me lessons 2x a month instead of 4x (like most teachers) which made it a lot more affordable for me. And it's enough to guide me on my learning journey and keep me accountable when it comes to practising so maybe that's an option for you as well. :) Love your guitar btw it's so cute. Just a tip if you're trying to fix anything in your guitar, if it involves the strings, loosen the strings first - for safety reasons just in case.
coloring a pick with nail polish is NOT optimal as it might wear away in a few months... you can try buying a new pack of picks! there are a lot of fun options :D stickers is great but it is much painful to take them down later than to put them up ... trust I speak from experience :| left hand nails should be shorter tbh like down to the flesh spoiler: it is proven to be easier to have short nails on your left hand. You would to need to do weird gestures or press as hard and you will DEFINITELY not dig grooves into your fretboard... which would be a huge L if you had a more expensive guitar... welp if you get cuts or blisters within week 1-3 it is totally normal you will grow new skin and just stick with it it is like working out but like guitar takes a lot of dedication to move forward so... bye long nails? for 11:11 loosen that string; take the allen wrench it gave you and adjust it to the right level. trust it would work though if you are not sure try a few different ones and see which one should fit. but remember to loosen the string first! for your final playing demo you should not be muting your strings too soon. it would sound a lot more fuller if you let it ring out like 0.5 seconds more :) everyone start off somewhere imean I didn't get any progress in the first 2 years or so and I truly hope my advices and constructive criticism helped you :D but anyways you are off to a great start! even though it was kinda shtty but it was MUCH better than having a busted d tuner or having to switch 3 guitars. I believe you will be a great musician if you keep going! p.s. I am also a highschool student :)))))))))))))))))))

I LOVE YOUR VOICE AND VIBE SM AND LIKE UR SO PRETTY LIKE HOW ????? 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
Imagine she comes back soon and outshreds everyone
There are 2 things i would recommend u to do. 1 ur guitar has some set up problems which makes ur guitar is not as easy to play (don't worry, it happens a lot in cheaper range but it can be fixed) take the guitar to the guitar shop ask them if they can set up ur guitar which usually include some money (u can do it urself but it's not easy at all) 2 ur left hand nails are too long (i know that they should be looking good) but it's not gonna be as easy as short nails. Hope it helps! Good luck!
a suggestion i have is to let the strings ring for a little more. instead of immediately going to the next string. and while i do recommend simply guitar, their tutorials are very helpful, i also recommend you learn how to read guitar tabs because you will be able to learn a lot more songs and get the basis of playing a guitar. it’s like simply guitar but instead of animated it’s typed out
10:00 when i started playing guitar my fingers were like that, i thought it was bad but really, it wasn’t. when you get into learning the higher stages of your guitar your fingertips should go rock hard, it’s a sign you have got the “guitar-tips” that’s what i call it, anyways lol! i know this was ages ago but i hope you have improved from here, wishing you luck fellow guitarist!!

I just discovered your channel and I'm obsessed!! your vlogs are so cute and you are so beautiful! I just recently started my own channel and you are such an inspiration. Im wanting to get into vlogging more and I love your style :D I also got an Electric guitar a few weeks ago, but it being the beginning of the school year, I haven't had much time to practice. Any way I just wanted to say I love your content and keep it up girl! 💕
Go and have your guitar setup. Can be done by a friend who knows how to set up a guitar or from a guitar shop. Besides the E string bridge issue, there are other things like high/low action which might need to be fixed which is done during the setup process. Some work might need to be done to the guitar's nut to stay in tune which almost all guitars have this issue unless it is a high end custom handmade ones like the Fender custom, Suhr guitars, etc. After doing those setups, you can fully focus on the learning the guitar. Additional tips if you are interested: 1. Use a guitar pick and practice alternate picking, etc. It's better to pick this habit now than later. 2. Get a cheap and better guitar amp like the Yamaha THR5A. Those amps comes as a free bundle with the guitar usually doesn't sound good. You can check out amps sound comparison of a good amp and a budget to see the huge difference.
When i first started playing guitar, i memorised the letters by this sentence: "Elephants And Donkeys Got Big Ears"
u just motivated me to clean my room and study. thank you.
Trust me Ive been on and off with my 6 string but I picked it back up about 5 days ago and I have way more knowledge since I'm committed now , could almost memorize an entire song now
I know that you probably abandoned that guitar, but as a tip for others beginners who are watching: NAILS SHOULD BE WAY WAY WAYY SHORTER. And on the right hand especially, because you need to press the string with a tip of finger, really close to the nail. Your fingers shouldn't be flat when you're pressing the strings, they should like stand (sorrt for poor explanation)
Hey, no worries regarding your fingers. It's normal to shred the finger tips when you start out. Have been playing since 2006 and had a lot of bleeding fingers and strings throughout the first 4 years 🙈

As a guitar player myself, putting stickers on a guitar is the most painful thing you can do and painting the picks when playing will just corrode the strings even faster but being honest it is awesome to see other people showing interest in the guitar
the more you practice at the beginning, the most you have to know to grow up in the guitar, its funny and some times you gonna be frustrated, almost with those chords like F, just prepare your mind to punch those walls down 🌻🌻
I remember the first time I had to cut my really long nails which almost brought me to tears. I tried to keep my nails as long as I could but some things must be sacrificed. And now I have absolutely no nails cus the key to sounding better is holding the chords right and short nails help a lot.

Short nails though 💀😭😭
Where are the rest of the guitar learning journey videos?
its good you cut your nails early on. Ive been playing guitar for a few years and trimming your left hand (hand you use on the frets) the nails can hit the other strings which you dont want. you can keep them long on the other hand however as its useful for finger picking!
I have the same exact guitar and company that made it. Mine is black and white and the amp box isn't that great honestly. I highly recommend also getting guitar wax/polish and get a collection of a couple strings for replacements. As someone who's played the electric guitar for 2 years you WILL NEED THIS STUFF!! Also with changing strings and cleaning your guitar I HIGHLY AND STRONGLY reccomend watching tutorials on how to change your strings. Especially if the string snaps by tuning it. It hurts like a mf when they break on you while tuning. Happy guitaring!!! ❤❤🎸

I play guitar almost exclusively fingerpicking with long nails on my right and short on my left (the fretting hand). Striking the strings with your nails instead of the flesh of your fingers can give a more defined tone, and you can kinda use your nail as a pick if you feel like it. ong!!! beabadoobee pls hire me 😭🙏🙏
I just got my guitar 3 days ago. I will also post my guitar journey and progress as often as possible. Let's see who can progress faster :D
omg, the way you hold the knife is SCARY. Btw, how is the guitar progress going? Don't give up!
The cutting the nails part is so relatable :S my two hobbies are nail art and guitar

Having to cut your nails short af is pure pain though
If your going to get a beggiiner guitar never buy any brand that is called "lyxpro" just for the love of got get a squire, epiphone, dinky, etc: anything but that. Also get a real teacher and go to summer camps with other kids where you perform together. That really sped up the journey for me.

I know some people who were self taught and turned out to be really good but definitely apps like that for me is a no go
As an 11 year old that app only helped with the basics which I did need but I knew how to play a violin too so I know a but on timing and everything but after learning the basics on the app I went to KZread to already start playing songs and the main one is fallen down which I honestly think it’s a good one to start with and I remembered the the first part but right know I am trying to remember the last part but I hope your journey goes well!

if you are still a beginner (idk if you are) i'd recomend justin guitar it's a really motivating website completly free and great courses for not just playing it but also understanding what ur playing
Did you end up fixing the guitar? All you need is a correct size allen key and turn so it raises that side of the saddle. Hope that helps.
Hii just want to let you know I think you might have forgotten to turn your amp on or turn the volume up on the amp or guitar cuz it sounded like it wasn't working😂 but I wish you good luck with it and all the best!!

thankyou!! 😭😭🙏
Lmao we can all agree it's fun at the beginning but utter hell learning. 😭
I enjoyed watching this video because im thinking of buying one electric guitar because the sound is awesome
2nd ep?
I hope you did'nt stop learning bcs the beginning is the hardest when you start to really play songs it starts to get really fun and motivates you i would recomend justinguitaer for lessons instea of simply guitar cause it doesn't teach you how to play guitar it just teaces you the muscle memory but please don't stop playing
THE BUNNY I CANT 💀💀😭😭✋
