So Vince actually didn't owe him 500k. He was mad Hogan got a mil for mania while he only got 500k. Which was in the contracts. Warrior thought he was as big as Hogan which simply wasn't true. Warrior was a constant problem. Just a year earlier he refused to drop the belt to Rick Rude and Rick left the company. Warrior was trying to hold Vince hostage because he was already in the storyline and promotions for the pay per view. I'm no saying Vince hasn't ever been shady. But this wasn't one of those times.

Ultimate Warrior demanded $500k THAT HE WAS OWED? Was that a large tab accruing over months? Or was that suppose to be his pay for that one match? If he had been waiting to be paid for various matches for months, I don't blame him one bit.

From what I read, UW was mad at not making as much as other guys (Hogan specifically) and demanded to be paid more for a previous match (basically demanding retro-pay after the match had already taken place) and for the forthcoming summerslam (where he was already on the ticket and being advertised). If he didn't get paid, he said he would not show. It was basically a tantrum that he was not being paid as much as the very top guy(s) and he held his services ransom. He put management in a bad position and pretty much guaranteed that he could not be relied on in the future - because if it works once, why not extort more money again? That's just what I read about it... could be slanted to favor one side in the story too...

He owned a training business that was successful. Vince tried to get him the the HOF and Warrior kept refusing until finally he agreed and he apologized to Vince and Hogan and they apologized for the video they released that bashed Warrior. All was water under the bridge. Then 3 days later Warrior passed. Very sad for his wife and 2 little girls

Buff Bagwell is another one. He only ever had one match in WWE, and he was fired almost immediately afterwards, because his match against Booker T was so poorly received. Apparently, Bagwell was a heavy drinker at the time, and Vince really didn't like that either.

According to an interview with Kevin Nash, Mabel almost got fired on the spot after a match as well cause of that butt crash to their back move he would do. According to Nash, was opposed to the firing despite the injury and said he just made a mistake, let's just make sure it doesn't happen again.

Translation, you actually don't know anything about the situation whatsoever. Because what really happened was, warrior wanted the same money that Hogan got. Which was 500k more. But what he was neglecting is that Hogan killed him in merchandise sales and money draw. The warrior wasn't unpaid, he just wanted more. He was a nightmare to work with. The year prior Rick Rude left the company because Warrior refused to drop the belt to him.
