Hello. Can you tell me please do the same drawing techniques for skin texture and pores apply when drawing on toned tan paper. I understand that the tanned paper is the mid tone and white pencil is used for highlights, but suppose I wanted to apply some pores to the highlighted areas of a drawing? It's my understanding that you shouldn't apply graphite over white pencil to avoid getting a muddy look. Have you done a video about this, if so can you give me the link to it? Thank you.

Hello... well, I'm not very familiar with toned papers, so I don't feel confident to give you any tips on this. I am sorry...

How do you stop the skin from looking grainy?

I use blending tools, particularly tissue, blending stumps and brushes with firm bristles. And you should use smooth papers as well ;)
What's the different between charcoal and graphite pencil
Nice … what type of paper do you recommend

I've been using smooth papers for years. Strathmore Bristol smooth and vellum are some of the best papers ;)
but why you don‘t use the side of the tip for shading? i just don‘t understand how shading with the tip is possible, even when i do it with the flat tip, the lines are so thin and it just seems impossible to shade like this😞
Good evening sir, from this part of my country. I'm facing a challenge, can't create an account on the skill share link from your bio.
