6 Tips if Your Massive Base is Lagging You in Planet Crafter!

If it's worth doing, it's worth over doing. If you've build 1 or 100 too many buildings in Planet Crafter you may find yourself lagging and hitching. These 6 tips will help optimize your experience and hopefully extend your playability just a bit further. The most significant tip in my opinion is the supply all option for drone logistics. Use this with caution! It seems like if you have a high end graphics card, your main issue is how many supply and demand containers you can support before it bogs your system down, and the supply all button multiplies that problem significantly.

Awesome. I'm using GeForce Now and troubleshooted almost everything to lower stuttering, I'll try that as well!
Fewer extractors, more fuses also saves you power. (Not that power’s a real issue after you triple fuse eight fusion reactors.)

Glad i know this now before i got too carried away with the supply all. The extractor thing is super helpful too. More production fuses! Yay!

My game is going smoothly but whenever I look at the direction where the ancient paradise is that’s when the lag starts. When I look away from the ancient paradise the game runs smoothly
If you made the mistake of using the supply all option a TON of times, you could edit your save file to change them, but that process is complex/fiddly by itself and you may be better off just manually fixing your machines. I also hope that the devs improve performance over time because tbh it gets quite bad at a scale that isn't all that unexpected for many players to pursue even though it's fine within what you need to do to 'beat' the game for all endings. Still the game is new and the team is small so I'm hopeful it will improve!
I'm not even using drones yet, and barely have a fraction of the stuff you got, not to mention I lowered the graphic settings to like medium and still experience lots of stuttering in my base.☹

oof, sounds like you could have something else going on? if you start a fresh save in creative mode is everything nice and smooth? you could enable all BPs and free crafting and maybe play around with building stuff and see if a specific building is causing a problem for you. beehives and flower spreaders seem to be a bit funky to me
