6 Things I wish I Knew Before Buying A Gsxr 750

Although this bike has been simply amazing throughout my years of ownership with it. If it were possible to go back in time, there are a couple things that I would have addressed totally different or sooner. And now that I have addressed these issues, I honestly have almost zero complaints about my Gsxr 750. It is a great bike!

The fact that this bike hasn’t been changed is because it’s going to continue to sell abundantly as is. It’s a good bike and it’s the only one in the 750 class amongst the Japanese machines. I think it’s total badassery just the way it is.

The relaxed ergo helps us old guys with bad backs... Since 2011: Naked bikes, Retro Classics, ADV/Touring have become more popular so sales on Sportbikes have suffered and so why invest upgrades on something that's not really selling well anymore. Hats off to Suzuki for even just keeping this old girl available and in play.

Just a little reminder, that the US is one of the few remaining countrys where you can buy these beautys factroy new. Due to "great" emission laws e.g. in the EU, the last model year here is 2015 and that's it. That's the reason suzuki won't spend any money on improving them, since the market share globally is too low. Just apprechiate this amazing toy. Wish i had one in new condition. :(

Not been updated because it's already discontinued in most of the rest of the world. I think it's dope you can still buy this model in the same spec it was in 2011. If Suzuki brought out a new version of this bike it would end up being much heavier, with more restrictions and emissions rubbish, have ABS brakes that people would complain about and cost a few grand more etc... Even with the latest generation GSXR1000 that's out now, imaging if Suzuki re-released the K5/K6 GSXR1000, it would be massively popular, not because it's more modern or has new tech, but because it's a classic analogue riding experience without all the modern rubbish that gets in the way. That's how I see the GSXR750, an old school pure analogue riding experience from a time when bikes weren't so restricted, which by some fluke, you can still buy brand new, quite a unique thing really.

i got this bike and i regret buying it. working on this bike is so annoying. the fairings snap easy, the inverted forks blow out oil seals easy. massive pain in the butt. motorcycles are supposed to be easy to work on, two bolts off and ur in the guts of the engine. but this bike.... nope. gotta remove 10000 things to get anything done

Most the time GSXR boys actually want to ride fast like really REALLY fast and push the limits and stunt . Alot of ballzie riders....... Not so much standing round drinking rubbish like coffee n beer talking about their bikes instead of riding the bike ......... Ducati boys love a good coffee kwakis love a beer and most of them can't wheelie and never will hahah ..... All the gsxr riders I know ride full leathers 😂 heaps of nonsense folk lore from beer swilling male donkeys at the pub
