Traffic is horrible. Boston is not built for cars. I-93 between Downtown and the Braintree Split is a horrible bottleneck. The thing reminds me of I-90 / 94 Kennedy Expressway in Chicago, which can be backed up at any time, with so many different branches of major highways flowing into it. In Boston: I-95 / 128 and MA 3 all feeding into I-93. In Chicago, we have I-90 / 94 and 57 combining into one North - South route through The City into Downtown. Also mention, 128, and how it is so confusing for outsiders. I figure that everything along that inner I-95 / 128 Belt is is "128" for locals, even though it is mostly signed as 95.
