Hey thank you for making this video. I hope you’re doing better. I have staggering anxiety outside of work and motivation. I like your personality on here so I hope it is shining even more, truly.
Let me just say that your hair color and haircut is bomb. You have an amazing hairstylist she cut it and colored it to perfection and brought out your best all features. Next, thank you for the tip on the genetic testing because I do NOT feel like going back-and-forth with this. Medication is too costly and time-consuming. Thank you for the video! 🌻

How are you doing on 10 mg and are you having any side effects?
Hope you will feel better! Praying for you!
I started lexapro this morning after battling anxiety for 15 years. I've been avoiding them because my ex husband took antidepressants and you could always tell when he didn't take them, and the sexual dysfunction was insane. I'm also worried about becoming reliant on them. But after sweeping all my issues under the rug for years, and now suddenly randomly crying in yoga sessions, it's time to try them. Thank you for speaking about this!

Hey there! I'm off the lexapro now. I gave myself 6 months to get me through some massive things I was going through at the time..they helped a lot! One of my main issues at the time was health anxiety, so I catastrophised a simple headache as a brain tumor. That sort of thing. The lexapro helped me look at such a thing more rationally. So I'd know that it's more likely dehydration, air conditioning, stress etc. It gave me time to go get the tools to use when anxiety hits, to help me when I came off them. I've been off since August 2023 and feel amazing! Don't get me wrong, I've had my moments and nearly went back on them, but I'm determined to stay off. But when I was on, it helped me immensely!

Thank you, I needed this a lot.
I'm bipolar, diagnosed 17 years ago when I was 12. I'm stable for 7 years now. My advice with depression is taking the mental health drugs, but that's not enough you need to eat healthy and stop drinking alcohol, coffee and anything with sugar in it so the mental health drugs work the best. Also you need twice more cardio a day that a regular person. I know sports is the last think you want when you feel depressed. Changing your lifestyle this way is lots of work, but is very effective. And one more tip: don't do the non supscibed drugs, those things can be very dangerous. Good luck, we missed you girl.

I healed my PCOS and PMDD severe bipolar mood disorder that I had for 8 years by eliminating consuming all excess estrogen that is found in chemicals in a lot of our skin/hair products and eliminating using products containing naturally estrogenic herbs (anything put on the skin absorbs into the body x10 because it bypasses the liver)also quitting birth control pills (they are synthetic unnatural hormones) not to mention excess estrogen. I started using progesterone cream/oil (which is all natural and made from yams!) and I feel totally normal again I have my life back! And by discontinuing using products making me sick. Look at all information on clearwoman.com I used Progestelle - progesterone oil. He has tons of info that is honest and will truly help you, I searched for years to heal myself and finally found an honest doctor who created an amazing treatment plan for people in need! I am not being paid for this I seriously want to help everyone who feels like I used to!

It sounds like you have so many good ideas! Would love to see you produce and share them! 😃 Thanks for sharing your thoughts here too!
thank you for this vulnerablity - i can relate to a lot of this and really appreciate your words
i totally agree that there is so much more they can be doing with different mental health treatments!! i have treatment resistant depression so i’ve been on over 10 different medications that were listed as possible ones that could work when i did the gene testing after i had severe side effects from other meds. then i tried TMS with no luck, tried the only other medications that had generics (cause otherwise we were talking a crazy amount of money each month for meds). now im planning on starting ECT within the coming weeks and i’m terrified that it won’t work. cause it’s really the last stop that i can afford (because it’s short term). i also switched birth controls to Yaz (the one that treats PMDD) but theres been no difference.but im so interested in like DMT and all of the possibilities that we cant even breach. but i hope you find that right mix of meds for you. it’s definitely smart to get that gene testing early cause i felt like i wasted so much time not having that information. i unfortunately didn’t find the right med from it but it can help a lot of people narrow that down faster. but i have to say a huge downside with these meds is having to wait 6 weeks for each medication to see if things are good or not because with mental health it stops you from living your life and even when you ask for help it can take a long time to figure out what is going to help you.

Hey. Here in Oregon we just passed Psilocybin for therapy. I've had a bunch of experiences with it and it really does help, you just have to be safe about it. Obviously do research, probably get off the ssri before trying any of that. But it is groundbreaking what psychodelics have shown for helping ptsd anxiety and depression. I did DMT last January and it changed my life my depression has been minimal since then, that's a big choice though so be careful with that one. Anyways just wanted to say that. Hope you're doing well. Also you're really pretty.

Please do a video on working in advertising! I'm currently working as an in-house designer in retail and I'm incredibly unhappy and bored with my work so I've been considering agency work. Would absolutely love to hear about it from your perspective, having left that industry.
Please make a video on advertising agencies. I work in this field and suffer anxiety & depression. Freelancing right now but that’s also hard on my mental health but better than some other roles I’ve had. Relate to your videos so much
psychedelics or mdma dont mix with ssri it risks serotonin syndrome. I want to get beta blockers or something similar. apparently it reduces norepinephrine which reduces the fight or flight response. its more complex than that obviously.
On my third day....I don't feel the best but it is very manageable. Hopefully I feel as good when my dosage increases to 20mg a day. This process has been crazy long, I hope I finally start seeing better days.

See a naturopathic doctor and get a nuerotransmitter test done. That will be able to tell you what you need more of. Your doctor should give you supplements in order to correct the imbalance. It takes a while, but instead of masking the problem like the SSRIs do, it will fix your brain in the long run. I was on SSRI's for a decade and was tired of them not working and side effects, so I went the natural route (exercise, sleep, supplements, diet) and got tremendous results.

@@Jo-eh7ux hi! two days ago I finished my treatment!!!! it's been many months... I took 6-7 months of full dose and then I went one month of 1/2 and one more month of 1/4 all was talked with a doctor. It's been good in general, it gave me more motivation and for sure reduce the sadness or bring me uo from the hole I was. But also I change many situations in my life. I'm lucky to have a family and friendship support. The only cons in my case, cause every case is different, is that I gain weight and had lucid dreams almost every day. But that is in my case. I've always been a person that dreams a lot at night so I guess the pill emphasized that part of me. And well now I'm loosing a bit of weight. It's not too bad, 7 kilos, many now I lost 2. It will take time but I think is totally worth it. I took escitalopram. You have to talk with a doctor about the pills, but this is my experience.
I've got a Mirena IUD and it took away my PMDD in the 1st half year of having it... I needed it for h. Flow but it saved my life from PMDD as "side effect". I guess it was an estrogen issue... my case.

So after almost a month it's starting to work for me. One thing that makes alot of difference is how much sleep I get.
