Wow 2 747-400s while I have you providing me with awesome Aviation footage I'll be a happy man.
Amazing landing by the first 747..it literally struggled to touchdown..what a heavy looking beat it is ..always love 747’s for the age they’re they’ve been ruling the skies unlike A380

Yes. They all end up there eventually.
Great capture, always love a windy landing.
Wow! Fantastic spotting compilation! Love the SAA A346! First 744 took a while to get the nose down! Indeed a very windy day there! VA A332 took a while to touch the ground as well!

It was a .....ing windy day.
Amazing catches mate!! Especiallyy the two 747's!!
Holy moly the first Qantas plane (744) could barley get down!
What graceful and beautiful flying big birds . . . . and the with skill's of the pilot etc, they all landed very well considering the cross winds . . . Excellent footage. I suggest you take a look at some of the landings in the Wellington Airport New Zealand on a WINDY DAY . . . . some of them are really hair raising.
Obviously with more and more Dreamliners coming on board the 747s need to be kept flying and doing something to earn their keep before the last flight to Victorville. See a few coming over Adelaide on their way to Sydney and great to see them still in the air.
The last 747 was the smoothest. Maybe they're the best aircraft in strong winds.

Yes, a lot of metal to push sideways.
You should of captured QR900 land on the 3rd of oct. it bounced like a balloon. Very bumpy experience
Trent 700 spool engines are soooooo uuuuggglllyyyy
What were the timings of the landing? Whenever I go at the viewing area, they always land from the left side and the view is restricted.

Not time but wind direction, look for days with a northerly wind.

It’s all with the wind that determines the landing direction
That's the Longreach it's not in the graveyard. If you like 747s at Perth airport download flightradar24 coz the other day I saw a national air take off!!!

Yes, I bet the overhead lockers shuddered. The tower complimented the SAA A340.
