UNBELIEVABLE CROSSWIND LANDINGS during a STORM with 20 ABORTED LANDINGS - GO AROUND !!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Today a severe storm crossed germany and caused lots of trouble for the pilots which had to land an airplane in western germany. Storm "Friederike" was the strongest storm in germany since 11 years. Pilots had to deal with wind speeds up to 75knts.
As a result I was able to film lots of "go arounds". Some pilots had to do three approaches until they finaly managed to land at Düsseldorf. Other pilots just tried it once and diverted to other airpots, like the Delta Boeing 767-400 for example.
Especialy the second landing, a Dash 8 of Eurowings did an incredible approach while fighting with extreme wind gusts at Düsseldorf Airport.

Every time I watch a plane land I think it's the most beautiful site ever! Especially those massively large planes! I so wish I lived next to an airfield! I love airplanes! Also when I watch videos of the massive planes take off! What a wonderous site! As a child I lived in hearing distance of an Air Force air field in the Canal Zone, Albrook Air Field. The first air field my family took a flight from for vacation to the U.S. We sat backwards, facing the back of the plane unlike today. Late 50's/early 60's. No A/C then so the louvered windows were open. Late at night you could hear the large planes running through the night....like a white noise. And when they shut down it was 'wake up and sit up' wondering where that sound was! To this day (70 yr old) I still sleep better with a background monotone sound! So many stories I could tell about my dad's interaction with planes during the war...so many stories I could tell about 3 out of my 5 brothers and their interactions with planes still to this day! I could go on and on about all the plane interactions I had in the Canal Zone! What a wonderful life! LIke camping out on a beach that was just at the entrance of the landing zone to Howard Air Force Base! Watching plane after plane come in for landing at night! We marveled at this with every landing we would yell 'DUCK'. They were so close overhead! ' During WWII a Lufthansa german plane landed at Albrook Air Field and was secured by the US Military. My Dad was commissioned to dismantle the cockpit which was written up in a book. I even have a picture of him doing this. I don't know the whole backstory to this. All inventions are great the most magnificent of all inventions is the airplane. NOTHING surpasses that...nothing!
The stability of the A380 is just amazing compared to the rest.

With that sort of turbulence and strong reason to suspect you may crash-land, there may be multiple people who puked their guts out and passed out. And/or one or two with poor cardiovascular health who just were so scared they had heart attacks. But yeah it is wise to have an ambulance for the potential crash even if no one already needed one.
*Congratulations to the pilots who were very prudent and responsible in times of difficulty in landing the planes.*

A320, if you go to McDonalds everyday, you can
Love how it seems that besides landing safely of course, the pilot's goal is to get that front landing gear on the center line! 👏 👏 👏
This is your Best Vid I have watched so far👏..Brave and Skillful Pilots✅
Dash 8: Hold on tight, we're going to go around! A320: Ooh, hard landing there. A330: BUTTER A380: What storm? It seems like perfectly good weather here.
7:40 --- I checked if I'm still watching the same video! LoL! 😅😅

Kudos to the purple ATR pilot, brought that bird down like a real champ 💪🏾
Wow! BEST collection of VERY difficult landings and MANY go-arounds that I have ever seen. It is amazing that this vid has no crashes. Truly great flying skills on display here!
Props to the pilots of the props! A380: "Crosswind, what crosswind?".
Love this video, the last one blew my mind off
The little props just get buffeted about! Well done to all those pilots for safely getting their aircraft down or made the decision to go around 😊
Just imagine the stress pilots to through at times like these.

Schipholhotspot Looks much worse? I don't know where you're located in the Netherlands but you surely didn't feel the 133 kmh gust that I felt then.

I was at the airport Schiphol filming the same storm and the effect it had on airplanes, i think it has more to do with angle of filming that i did in comparison to the angle of what Martin filmed. and his images look more spectaculair than what i did recorded.
