gestures that indicate a sense of giving, to emphasise key points, and bring the audience back to you, the speaker, as presenter, all contribute to the speach

Just to add to your excellent points, when describing anything that shows progression from left to right, I make sure that I'm gesturing to the audience's left and right. From the speaker's perspective it may seen backwards, but it makes it easier for the audience to follow your story.

very helpful video, I have a speaking part in our christmas play at church standing alone, now I can practice at home and instead of just moving my hands up and down I have practiced letting my hands and arms, one at a time, relating one for behind me for the pasts and the other for the future lifting both up for praising God and lowering them for the meek and lowly, pounding one down for executing justice and lifting both to be said high and lifted up, also moving my body from side to side as a jesture of going and comeing. Thanks for the lesson!

This isn't something negative and also not about this video at all just a piece of random thought that suits perfectly this moment that is ..... If u don't have Robust content then u have to take support of these kind of things while giving presentation, speech etc (ie : hand gesture, body language etc) to shift people attention . Real people always focuses on content not on decoration and I am talking strictly about real ones not that crowd who insanely follows anyone without any logic and explanation just on the basis of aesthetic appeal, looks , swag, level of show off etc But yes if u have something solid then these thing just can enhance your speech as these things catch eyes but still these things are not that much important but nowadays people are giving very much imp to these thing rather than focusing on themself but genuine audience will always sense your hollowness if you don't have good content but have great decoration I have seen many actually not many majority of people and u can see too u just have to open youtube or just look around in your society and nearby or just look news anchors , actors and pay somewhat more attention, people look extremely confident from externally just because of these things( body language, , show-off on social media platforms, loud personality , fake smiles etc ) they are vulnerable but they don't show their vulnerability. Never ever follow anyone who always portrays himself/ herself perfect or doesn't show his /her vulnerability, imperfection, mistakes because most probablythat person is going to be fake ones Always follow people who are the product of their mistakes, failure and confidently embrace their mistakes, failure, imperfections, vulnerabilty and not just show their bright side and hide their dark side because they are incapable of embracing that because if u can't embrace your own dark side then u also don't deserve your positive side as well:) I know it looses it's track and may seem impossible to understand what i am saying but I don't care as long as I'm honest it may seem also as a negative opinion but am really a positive person who knows what is strength ( strength doesn't comes from outside it comes from within and when u actually work on your self not on decorations) and beauty is :) Oh it was a such a long comment , I never ever have written such a long comment earlier actually I never really comment even ( meanwhile in the back of my mind = who cares what u used to do or not just stop it 😊😊)

There are also some very funny South Indian hand gestures.. 1) Making a thumbs up and pointing backwards and shaking while asking someone about something with aggression. 2) Pointing the index finger at someone and shake it heavily for to make a threatening gesture. 3) Open up your palm with all the fingers wide open and twitch it to communicate that something is not available. 😂
