So true: “English classes haven’t prepared you for all of that”. I liked a lot the taxi driver, the hotel receptionist and the barista 😂

Bloody hell, I thought I knew English well enough before my work in rural Scotland! Terrible accent and many words are totally different ! - Aye (yes), tatties (potatoes), nae (no), all rrright (hello) etc, and the sounds of the accent are very brutal (much more brutal than German) )

I'm from Brazil and I know Leicester is "Lesta" (at least that's what I think I hear) because I watch English football in English. Now I'm gonna watch the video 😂😅

Scottish geographical names or their famous brands, please! Another suggestion: king Charles and prince's William and Harry, their accents!

Me as well, once I banged into a chair as I was walking through the house and said “sorry” to the chair! My mother asked did you just say sorry to the chair?

The accent for the bartender sounds Italian to my American ears.

Hehe yes I was trying to do an Italian English accent to show that not all people you meet here are going to be from the UK. We're exposed to a huge variety of accents and pronunciations.

When mentioned "Sorry", "Excuse me" could have been mentioned as well, and the difference explained. For instance, Germans often get this wrong, since the same German word can be used for all related situations.
