I don't know where you did your research, but Lyoto Machida is Shotokan Sensei. Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris is a black belt in Tang Soo Do, which is a Korean derivative of Shotokan. Bob Sapp was taught K1 rules kickboxing by Sam Greco, but doesn't have formal Karate training.

​@bs84578 incorrect Chuck Norris is a black belt in Tang Soo Do, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. He didn't start martial arts until he joined the Airforce. It was at Osan Air base in South Korea in 1958 where he started martial arts, and it was Tang Soo Do. Now Tang Soo Do is a derivative of Shotokan, but it was modified by its founders Won Kuk Lee and Hwang Kee. Hwang Kee learned Shotokan from studying Gichin Funakoshi's book entitled Rentan Goshin Toudi-jutsu. He never had formal lessons. After studying the book he developed several new forms. For instance, Yuk Ro are six forms created in 1947 by Hwang Kee; Chil Sung is a form developed by Hwang Kee in 1952. He also taught Yang style Taijiquan short form and Shaolin Long Fist as upper level forms.

@@kevionrogers2605 thanx for info I shared this info from other website may be wrong. It was shotokan which went for changes and started using spining kicks taken from french boxing but karate kicks were awesome due to body conditioning . Even today karate is most powerful form of self defence for any age group wadu ryu technique seen for first time very awesome martial art.In karate one can overpower stronger opponent judo traditional I have seen called freestyle judo was very deadly .

Correction:Gichin Funakoshi did not name his style Shotokan. Funakoshi never gave his style a name.He just called it karate. His students made a sign for his dojo and called it Shotokan. Lyoto Machida didn't do Kyokushin either.Who put this video together?

great respect to u unlike chense martial arts kung fu Karate is simple can be learned by anyone I have no experience of wado ryu i find it simple I had experience with shotokan but I feel Garju ryu and kyokushin r most dangerous form of fighting if used in offence shotokan is deadly for quick action .SHORIN RYU IS GOOD FOR LONG FIGHTING EACH STYLE HAVE UNIQUE FEATURES.

Years ago i praxticed a derivative of. Kykushinkai. It was hard strikes and endless kata with little application . Then moved on to trad Jiu Jitsu.... Locks and throws were missing from my style.

Well known Kyokushin Karate students are GSP, Bas Rutten, Dolph Lundgren

There is also Shukokai karate Ryu of which I practice

I am from shito-ryu

As a teen I had train Kyokushin style, It tough and rough, more suited to adult, big type body, useful at street brawl

There is only one type and it's your own style. Study this carefully.

Traditional Goju Ryu doesn’t have competition…just saying

I studied Uechi-Ryu Karate Do. FYI do is pronounced like Homer Simson D'oh .Shito Ryu is actually pronounced She-d'oh Rue.Goju is Go ju.

Uechi-Ryu is Way chi rue. It's derived from Shaolin kung fu style call Pan Gai Noon.

Machida is shotokan. Maybe i believed kyokushin karate is gsp and bas rutten

It's Shotokan (two long o's) Not Shahto kan. It's Kyo- kushin. Accent is on the first syllable, and with a slight pause before second syllable...basically ALL of your pronunciations of the styles are wrong. This should be corrected, and then reposted. No, let me correct myself. All of your Japanese is wrongly pronounced. And you research is wrong, as seen below.

Misinformation. Please do research before publishing. Use actual footage of the styles. Do not use ai or artificial speakers. Pronunciation is terrible.

This whole video is AI generated and we can tell. You can't just have a computer write and say everything for you and expect it to be successful.
