I saw it and tried it with only one shelf, we’ll see if I like it but it is a nice change :) i targeted the shelf of books that I like the least hehe (Edit : shitty explaining)

Fall in love w/ Kill Switch! That book is masterpiece

I ran into 'The Siren' kind of unintentionally and it blew my mind. It truly is a work of art. The moment Søren enters the room for the first time... I read it three years ago and still think about it from time to time.

Saw the title and was like 'awwww girl, hit me with those recs'.

me: dark romances arent normally my thing also me: welp, i guess im into it. chan, youve always got recommendations that just sound so appealing.

The Mafia and His Angel by Lylah James is the darkest book I've ever read. It's gruesome, graphic, twisted, toxic, passionate, steamy, and bittersweet love. Trigger warnings shouldn't exist for this book. The book itself is sinister and just the BEST READ for someone who can stomach everything from rape to physical/psychological torture.

@@Bruh-ig6do the point is, someone who can't read dark topics will have a physical reaction to the book. However, it's an extremely good dark romance read because of what happens to every character who partook in the horrible actions stated above. In other words, it's not for the faint of heart.

My favourite book hands down

I LOVED the Dollar Series, I devoured all 5 books in like a week! Also, I think the Monsters in the Dark Trilogy is great, Tears of Tess was the very first dark romance book I've ever read. Pepper Winters does not write for the faint of heart.

Kill Switch is my favourite of Pen's books. Like OMG! Damon! The character development of Damon is the most beautiful thing. Will start reading these books now.

I would recommend The Sweetest Oblivion by Danielle Lori. That book had off the charts chemistry between H & h. Not even kidding, I was thinking about the sexual tension days after I finished the book.

You should try some of Penelope Sky's books if you are looking for dark romances that have been translated in multiple languages. I just did a whole video on 4 books series by her! I love her!

Pepper Winters is my favorite dark romance author. I'm so happy to see her in this list!

I have read Unrequited (which I freaking LOVED) and Killswitch (also loved). On another note, loving all the changes. Looks so fresh 🙏🏼

The Unrequited is one of my top 3 books. The writing is so emotionally engaging and is NOTHING like any 'fall in love with teacher' books I've ever read. Even if you are not specifically into the forbidden romance genre, this is still an intense book.

Absolutely love Tiffany Reisz Original Sinner Series! I cannot believe a new book (#9) is coming out this spring. I've read all of these recommendations except for Menace. I'll pick that one up soon. Thanks for your videos.

Lol I set the speed to 0.75 and now I understand perfectly 😘. Regular speed is too fast for me.

Checkout The Twist Me Trilogy, The Capture Me Trilogy & The Tormentor Mine series by Anna Zaires Love all 3 of these series & all 3 series are connected to each other but start with The Twist Me Trilogy, then The Capture Me Trilogy & The Tormentor Mine Series last, I couldn't put any of them down got thru all them in 24 hours literally binge read them.

Great video. I discovered Sam Mariano this year... her Morelli series is amazing and I also loved Untouchable. I also second the recommendation below for Mia Knight's Crime Lord series. I enjoy Cora Reilly's Born in Blood Mafia books too.

i totally agree about the siren. I think it's an incredibly deep book which is unexpected from a "romance" book. I also adored Pennies, like it's totally a trainwreck like you said, but the characters are so good ant the development throughout the five books is incredible too??

On the top of my head definitely THE PAPER SWAN by Leylah Attar. Dude, it broke my heart and put it back together. Also i cant get over how pretty you are 💖 definitely adding menace to my tbr

The way she described Damon going from a loathsome person to someone lovable reminded me of Rhysand from the ACOTAR Series

I recommend you read - The Opportunist (Love Me with Lies #1) since you said you liked the first book.

There is a series on kindle that is a very good dark romance! I read them within a few days, there are 7 books but it goes into different characters while staying with the main if you get what i mean! Its the (Morelli Family) the first book in my opinion isn't the best but the rest are so good! Also untouchable by the same writer is so amazing I've reread it at least 3 times! Both by Sam Mariano

I dont feel like I have really heard anyone ever talk about Tiffany Reisz before. She is literally my favorite author of all time. Her Orginal Sinners series is freaking fantastic and a really nice depiction of both BDSM life and healthy polyamory. I love how sex positive everyone is as well. I HIGHLY encourage you to continue with the series bc the relationship dynamics get crazy. I like Tillie Cole's dark contemporary romances as well. I really enjoy the Hades Hangmen series and her new one, the Fallen. Both have TW for LITERALLY everything tho. Like if you can think it, it's in their so its DEFINITELY not for the faint of heart.

@@chandlerainsley theres a continuation to the series subtitled the White Years as well. They are frame tales of each of the characters backstories before the Red Years (the original 4) Edit: I JUST now realised that I used the wrong there in my orginal comment 😂🤦🏾‍♀️

Anything by TM Frazier is dark and addicting highly highly recommend the King series and the Perversion series (trigger warning for heavy depictions of sexual assault in Perversion trilogy tho)

The Sordid series by Nikki Sloane is my fave dark romance the second one is my favorite of the two for sure and Nikki Sloane has become one of my fave romance authors - I've seen Unrequited a fair amount in my recommended but assumed it was gonna be a standard student/professor story gonna for sure check it out now

I read the Unrequited and absolutely HATED it. It was really interesting to hear your take on it because I know it was rated really highly on goodreads. Although I gave it one star, I love hearing other opinions. Great job!

I read pennies and I loved it. I recommend prisoner by Skye Warren and annika Martin. It's such a good and thrilling read, if a little dark... Scratch that it's a lot dark.

Bang by ek blair is the best dark romance I have ever read. Its perfection. And there is much more abuse and triggering scenes so, its much scarier than pennies series by Pepper
