So, I made the bang bang chicken last night. Wow it was amazing. The chicken was so tender and juicy. My husband isn’t a fan of too much spice but he loved it. The cucumber counters the spice of the chicken. Amazing. Thank you Marion. 😷

It is so wonderful to be brought up in a home where good eating is a must. I had that in my childhood but it was not my mother the cook, but a cook hired just to cook for the family, like in many Asian households. The lemon chicken is making my mouth water! I love watching you, even when you’re making something which includes prawns, which I hate, or adding fish sauce which, again, I hate! Just watching you cook and eat what you’ve made, your enthusiasm is catching! I did buy fish sauce and try it after you’d said it adds flavour but can’t be tasted, I’m afraid I could taste it 😔 I think it’s that thing where you can always taste something you dislike! BUT, interestingly, I can’t taste anchovies in Worcester sauce...Is that an alternative to fish sauce?
