i've just gotten a new macbook air (after using a mid-2012 ones for years) and i felt very lost in the new m1 system. Thanks for making things easier (and way more efficient) for new users of the modern macbook models Ella :)

I've been looking for a good clipboard manager for mac since coming from windows. Maccy is perfect, and rebinding the screenshot key was another great tip. Thanks

I also use Mos! It’s great to get smooth scrolling with any mouse on the Mac! I thinks it’s even better than Logitechs own smooth scrolling option that you can enable in their official app. Great video!

Do you have any sleeve recommendations for the new MacBook Pro?

I have a question regarding the Better Snap Tool. Do the zones work at the Desktop level. I tend to use multiple virtual Desktops. Are the zones that are setup fixed across all the virtual desktops or can they be setup differently per Desktop ? Already added Maccy as this has caught me out regarding paste buffers being lost. Great video thanks.

Hi Ella, great video's. I'm glad I found your channel. Quick question on BetterSnapTool- If you have a lot of icons/programs across the top of your screen (menubar strip) or the new MBP with notch it is possible that the BST icon will not be visible. What is the alternate (keyboard shortcut or other) way to access the context menu specific options (e.g.- "Snap Areas (Advanced Feature)" needed to define/edit zones)? When I run the app from spotlight I only get the preferences window which I do not think lets me define/edit zones. Thanks in advance for your answer to this.

It has to be visible in the menu bar when defining the zones.

For screenshooting to clipboard, cmd + shift + 4 should put your mouse at screenshot mode. For clipboard copying, hold option as you let go of your click. Just one button

Hi, coming from windows, is there an app where it can automatically select one of the passive windows/apps "open" in the background when you "close" the currently active/selected app? can't get used to the fact that you have to actually click on the app to select it and the menu bar stays on the app you just closed.

Your screenshot tip isn't needed, as it's built in. Press CMD + SHIFT + 5. You can then choose where to save the screenshot like your clipboard, desktop, documents etc. And it remembers your last setting so mine is always doing a copy to the clipboard. It has more options like part of your screen or the full screen and you can also record your screen with it. Hope this helps

this question doesn't relate to your video at all but i just want to know whether u recommend putting a screen protector on your Mac or not? Since some websites on the internet agree and some don't.
