6.5 Grendel has been a challenge for me to reload for. 🏅

Sometimes, challenges and frustrations with reloading, only add to our knowledge for future ventures. For me, the more difficult cartridges become my favorite because more time is applied to those cartridges.
Thanks for sharing Dave. For my own Grendel loads I tend to crimp pretty lightly and this gives me pretty good results. YMMV.

Good to hear!
Pretty good 22LR group at 50 yards. I zero at 35 usually and then going out to 50 shows a good drop already. But you have more vast open space vs me headed into some woods for squirrels. I like your 6.5G. Factory ammo is so pricy that I'd have to invest in handloading. Just no space in my house.

Thanks for your coment here. Take a look at my portable reloading set up, for ideas on space saving. kzread.info/dash/bejne/gp-ErLicY9O9ZJc.html&ab_channel=DaveStrohmeyer-SaddleUpShootin%27

From Google search; The phrase "Lest We Forget" is a common phrase used in war remembrance services to commemorate the sacrifices of those who have served in conflicts, wars, and peacekeeping operations. It became popular in the British Commonwealth after World War I, and is often used in war memorials, epitaphs, and as a plea to not forget past
Haa. Quite a match up Dave! ❤😂😂❤
Those are good groupings for Rem Thunderbolts.... I weight sorted a bunch a while back there was a 3 grain variance from heaviest to lightest... I tore down 2 of the lightest and 2 of the heaviest... all the weight variance I could detect was in the projectile, cases a powder charges were all the same weight plus or minus .002 grains... I do like Marlin rifles.. I have a 795 and a couple 22lr XTs

I am learning there are allot of folks who take their precision 22 LR shooting very seriously. Thanks for watching.

Thanks Bobcat. Did you kick up the powder load a bit for your 22-250?

@@davestrohmeyer-saddleupsho8009 No, those were both at the Lee recommended starting load. Room to go higher but you approach a compressed load with the H380. I have stayed away from compressed loads because I don't know much about that. Thanks.
The M60 does not like the first shot in a group. Classic, iconic round, though, the Thunderbolt. I often use it in some form of handgun or rifle to make sure my crono is working when beginning to crono some test loads. 😊Thanks

I haven't had allot of practice with the .22 since I was old enough to wear long pants...HaHa! I remember when the Thunderbolts came out, they were the newest and hottest thing back then.
Outstanding! Thank you, Sir! ❤❤❤❤❤

Sir, any thoughts on the .338 Win Mag? Since the mid 80's, a favorite of yours truly. Many thanks.

@@mutthaam2396 The 338 Win Mag is a great large animal, heavy bullet (200gns.) or more, longer range capable cartridge. It's major set back to most hunters is the 35-40 pound recoil that is excessive for most. Also the cost of factory ammunition is higher than say the 30-06 that can shoot up to the same grain weight projectile with 23-25 lbs non magnum recoil.
Nice 👍

I debated the 6.5 grendel so long that the 6 arc came out! I love the arc but Im interested in the grendel some still. I dont know if its worth it to add another cartridge that's so similar. I use a 300 Ham'r for the closer in stuff. Great video as usual. Thanks for the entertainment while im on a break at work today!
