I have 1 big question for a beginner. lets just say you have 3 or 4 routers. The client doesn't have a DHCP server but the easy way to be would be to setup a router as a DHCP server. Now how do I forward the DHCP client addresses through those other routers to the switches (say they are at other locations). I am having problems with this...

+Paul Smith Hi Paul, you could use IP helper command Access interface where the pc would require dynamically IP address and point any request to be forwarded to DHCP server. router(config)# interface fa0/0 router(config-if)# ip helper-address 192.168.1.1

+Astrit Krasniqi hmmm.. already did that. I have ccna routing and switching study guide. The f0/0 and 1/0 ports are showing methods of dhcp but address unassigned. for the router to both the switches of the network. dhcp add 172.16.10.1/30 router add 172.16.10.2 sorry to be a bother.
