Not sure about that when it comes to acting. Still seen better things of him and the earring‘s definitely got to go! Sorry 😅. And just for the record: beard /mustache doesn‘t suit him neither. No offense 🫶. Just my honest opinion.
This looks very good!
I love Rudy‘s acting, I just hope he is getting the right offers after Outer Banks. JJ Maybank was his best role so far- he showed so much depth, versatility, stage presence and vulnerability reminding me of River Phoenix or early works of Leonardo diCaprio. He is also proved he is able to make a character his own, if you know what I mean. Nobody else could play JJ Maybank like he did! He was just truly phenomenaI in it and didn’t get enough credit for it in my opinion. Some scenes were so tough challenging to play, going from being fun and rebellious to acting how hard it is to love and hate your abuser at the same time, or not being self-confident or feeling worthy enough to love or be loved and really draw the viewer into this emotions or acting drunk convincingly- he just excelled at every one of those things! It was just a pleasure to watch- he carried the whole show! But here: I don’t know why, but I don’t feel him in this particular clip at all, I find it really disappointing. I am still a fan and eager to see more of him, but I think he could do a lot better with the right sort of productions and (possibly) better guidance.
