    Quick question, if I have a heat mat and I also have a red uv light and a bright white uv light, should I be only using the heat mat in the daytime and then use the red uv light at night?

    you should breed crested geckos Brian! my female is going to lay soon but ive noticed you dont own any crested geckos, their so awesome, require no heat. easy to breed. and have some great morphs and traits.

    can somebody who has a lot of experience help me out I'm have had a female leopard gecko for a few years I recently rescued 2 more a male and female pair that were already established and living together after quarantine I'd like to put all 3 together i have a huge enclosure from my sulcata tortoise that out grew it my question is how do I introduce the 3 1 on 1 or do I introduce each 1 to my female individually all are around the same size

    We always keep 4 females together. They love in groups often in the wild, so it works well for them.

    Hey Brian. I noticed that my 2 year old kingsnake looks a little fat. I can see the skin between her scales sometimes, even when she's not eating. Should I be worried? If so, how can I fix it? I made her skip a few meals, but that didn't help.

    Cut back on the size of the feeder would be my guess. Eventually it will even out, kind of like a diet for humans. Don't ever take a meal away if the snake is hungry though. Other than that I wouldn't really know, never had to deal with a bloated snake before.

    My boy is spoiled. He gets wax worms meal worms and crickets. All with calcium powder.

    It's good to mix it up for sure. Not too many Wax Worms though.. Super high in fat! Brian

    +AnimalBytesTV Mine gets morio worms, meal worms, locusts and wax worms. I am also considering 'calci' worms in the future - variety is key!
