Nice. Feels Like An English Estate In Britain. Not Overdone, Like Some Of The Super-Luxury Homes, I've Seen. And The Yard, Wow Absolutely Amazing. It Has That Park-Setting Feel To It, Like 1 Would See In Europe, While Touring Some Of The Large Palaces Found There. Really Done In Good Taste.

@@aig5429: That's a lot for a one bedroom apartment. Where is that? In my apartment house we pay that for a two-bedroom and I have a front yard and brick planter all along the front of my place. Everyone downstairs has garden space in front of their apartments and there's some space for people upstairs if they want it.

The price is in the location more then anything else, the average cost of a home in Oakville is 1.6 million and that's just for a small home, not even a mansion. I walk my dog in the (dying) town there all the time and it's not worth the cost of living there in my opinion, I think most wealthy people live there because of all the private schools in the area

You really need something smaller, dear; probably an elite nursing home, unless you have the funds to pay for all the extras to maintain this beautiful mansion... and yourself to be well-taken care of... it won't be any Heaven on Earth. Just because something is large or ornate doesn't mean it's desirable or in good taste. This is something from 1890 England. Check out under "Contemporary Luxury Homes" and see what I think most are referencing. None are this huge, but you can only be in one room at a time. It's beautiful in its' own right, but still very outdated.

Stunning and absolutely beautiful home and property. Fantastic location!. I would have such an amazing time living here. I would be swimming almost every other day. Imagine reading some of your favorite books in this library with the fireplace on. I can see myself cooking a gourmet meals in that kitchen and inviting some close friends to join me. Even dressing up would be so natural. I love boating and nature. After I playing some piano, the choices of places to enjoy yourself is fantastic. I used to go boating a lot, so that would definitely be one of them. It takes a lot of time to design a home such as this one . Thank you for showing us this video.

I lived in Oakville Ontario. In a condo on third line . Beautiful area,. Mansions on the lakefront . One of the richest areas in Canada for real-estate. Stunning homes all.along the waterfront! All you see are the gates . I was just a plebe rn . Enjoying the beautiful town feel of Oakville. Commuting like every one else!!

Unfortunately this house does not have staff quarters.

My wife and I stayed there once. We found the light switches no problem. We cooked dinner watched TV and went to sleep. I give it a good rating.

It would be my dream to live like this. To each his own.

I am not usually a fan of these over the top houses. But this is a horse of a different color! Absolutely stunning attention to detail and most importantly color. For a home of this size the architect and interior designers have it flowing seamlessly and effortlessly it seems. Not aseptic in the least and looks so inviting! A beautiful masterpiece of timeless elegance! Cheers to a job well done .

I have seen a lot of homes, here and in real life , I have never seen anything as beautiful and classy as this! This home is what dreams are made off.

Beauty always belongs to classics and is build forever, modern architecture is missing classics and is build for temporary use. I hope we will come back to beauty and make our towns and houses beautiful again.

My thoughts exactly. With climate change and all, why would anybody buy this close to water let alone pay 59 million for it? Doesn't make economic sense. I've watched the "For Sale" videos in Florida and California and I personally, feel they are getting out while the getting out is still good.

@@dross2172 climate change is a normal cycle of planetary life, without climate change you are living inside a plastic bubble. Speaking of plastic bubbles be careful what the television and newspapers tell you, it's in their best interest to lie to you. It's important to paste an enemy on your forehead to these evil people so as to access as much money and control over your life whether it's a fictional terrorist group since there's global peace already and no real threat from anyone or a non human element that can be made up to convince you all. Also Florida and California are sitting beside oceans whereas this house sits next to a lake that eventually dumps into the ocean over 700 miles away and has no real oceanic relation other than the water that will eventually make its way there at some point. The lake itself poses no threat to this property because if it did they'd be protecting it by pushing it back with massive land fill reinforcements which I'm sure happened quite awhile ago already.

Once i was there from work, this house made me stunned. I was so overwhelmed .

I just watched this again carefully. It feels like I am in Europe. This music reminds me of the musical genius Yanni and it evoked such stirring emotions in me. Alberta is my home. But I would live in Oakville, if I could. I hope oneday, I could be proposed to here and have a beautiful wedding or outdoor reception on these yards. It is beautiful. From Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Must say this is the most lovely home I have ever seen in my life, and may ever see!? So perfect! Even the church is great for weddings and I am ordained and could even do them myself! Unbelievable house. Very fortunate people that have the money to buy such an absolutely stunning home. I pray they do cherish it and wish them many years. ( Some of our children live in Plattsburgh near the Canadian border and that would work for us too!

How rich can this family be? Money is neverending....every detail is the finest including outside not 1 thing goes unnoticed. Absolutely beautiful now can i move in i promise i come with no problems and you wont see me:)

I like 90% of this home. Not crazy about what was done with the basement space and feel the home needs an elevator, the library stairs are a death trap, surprised there is no chef's kitchen..............but a STUNNING home. The attention to detail in all of the rooms is amazing. The master bedroom/suite is beyond the beyonds and I love the grounds and the chapel !!! Amazingly beautiful and serene. This house is the stuff of dreams. **Sigh** P.S.: I need to see Mr. Powell's jewellery box!!! (The one he could not afford to buy in 1971.)

This is a nice one. Great view of the lake & the bedrooms are 'A' class..kids gonna love their rooms!
