Wow very beautiful and chic.
Gorgeous home,,,,, , , , , , , Mine 😍😍
Now that is what I call a contemporary, luxurious and beautiful house. I want the same design, but half the size of this house and that would be perfect for me. 7,500 Sq Ft is just too big for me. This house at 3,500 to 3,750 Sq Ft would be perfect!!!!
This has a nice homey warm feel to it unlike other places that feel cold due to excessive use of marble or similar material every where.
Amazing and speechless
I wish this gorgeous house were built here in Florida...
Beautiful home 😍
Deserves this price!
I think the laundry room is bigger than my kitchen. Lol This house definitely has many beautiful options, however for 5 million id expect a pool, pool table and more of a backyard for entertaining. Im not sure if its just me but these homes in Oakville going this price range and above look like statues and have no warmth to them. This one isn't as bad as some of the others i looked at....I guess the richer you are the colder you become?! I don't know?! Not like I could afford this but I know most people looking at homes probably have better taste than the ones who can by them. It's because we spend so much time dreaming and they spend so much time investing.

No roof overhang? Gutter down sprouts are side of wall! Sky light on the flat roof. Hope it doesn't rain or snow often.

What happened to the portico? They could've turned that garage on its side where it's out of sight from the street. And then added a portico to drive under, that would've been beautiful!

I believe it does. but you have to pay land transfer tax on the property as well as the furniture. It amounts to over a hundred thousand dollars in many cases.
If you want to show your attention to detail, try spelling the designer's name correctly. It's Brian Gluckstein.
I don't like the double height family room, and I'm not a fan of balconies looking down into the main living space. But it's a very lovely house.
@Aoendkth-nv7au

Sits too far back on the lot, the outside space is nearly double the size of the backyard....

VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION !!!!
@helenaczekanska3513
2 жыл бұрын
How usually they make buldings in Canada ???
Is there some restriction for architects in Canada? Still haven’t seen anything on the level of Australian or English architecture (zainy and creative). These houses still have the same classic layout and frame, must be a Canadian restriction.
@virtuitousvampire9371
3 жыл бұрын
It’s not restrictions. It’s just how trends are here. They are more classical and not as creative. More trends gear towards high end materials rather creative style. It’s kinda sad but a lot are very finely crafted & sophisticated but lack character and whimsy. Not very Canadian tbh. But I think we take more from Scandinavian and historical styles.

Building code and municipal historical and permitting put a lot of constraints on how and what can be built. I know a house from 1890 that they wanted to add an extension on to that was in the same style and were willing to import stone from the same quarry in Europe. The city said no because it's a historical building. Anything you build must be built in a contemporary style and use a zinc panel on the outside, so it is clearly not part of the original building. It looks like the louvre and MOMA glommed together. Its hideous but that's what they were told to build. Go look at 85 Prince Arthur in Toronto on Google maps Streetview!
how much
😲😲😲
This was won on Princess Margeret Lottery and the lucky winners want to sell it. I did purchase a ticket but didn't win but I plan on building this similar house on the land I have.
@patrickwingert2018

Most lottery homes get sold because of the taxes and fees that must be paid by the winner. It could be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. It usually makes sense to sell the house paid the fees and taxes and then walk away with a few million and go buy a house you can afford.

@@patrickwingert2018 I'd keep it its a beautiful house but iam looking for the blueprints so I can build the same one on a lot I have 80X200 deep
@patrickwingert2018
3 жыл бұрын
@@W140MercedesS600 It will cost less to build new than buy this one. A good architect should e able to work up a decent set of plans for about 10% of the price of the house. I would double the number of plugs on the walls and add a smart home feature and a telecom/server room so all the media features, telecom, internet, and data jacks have somewhere to run to.

beautiful. still extremely over priced at 5 million. also wonder why train station info us in description? who that can afford a 5mil+ house is ever taking the train? even kids on the family would either be chauffeured or drive their own luxury car. odd.

Good point! Our guess would be that many people who work in the downtown core prefer to take the train in to avoid the heavy traffic in rush hour.
After looking at Toll Brothers houses, this is not so impressive.
