The worst part about being an INFJ is the 16 personalities that are within me. I am every single person I've met, every single book I've read and all the experiences in my life. I don't have a sense of self. I don't really know who I am. If I read about an ENTJ, I become an ENTJ. If I talk with an INTJ, I become the INTJ. I am who you are.

Here's a list to all of you INFJ brothers and sisters out there. I took most of it from the captions so there might be a few mistakes. Take care out there all of you! 1. You know that you're an INFJ from time to time if you really are an INFJ. 2. You know you're INFJ when you're pretty sensitive but also pretty rational 3. You know you're INFJ when your friends suddenly wonder where the hell you've disappeared. 4. You know you're INFJ when you'd much rather analyze other's emotions than your own. 5. You know you're INFJ when you enjoy the idea of traveling but most of the time the traveling is mostly in your head. 6. You know you're INFJ when you feel like people don't really understand you. 7. But you also feel like an INFJ when you feel guilty about feeling misunderstood because feeling unique is a bit vain. 8. You know that you're an INFJ when you really get angry but when you do it's an absolute configuration. 9. You know you're INFJ when you're sick of people telling you that you're a unicorn. 10. And you also know you're INFJ when you're often decent at maths in school but you were also kind of good at literature and history and a bit of everything. 11. You know you're INFJ when your life is a perpetual quest to understand what you're really looking for. 12. You know that you are INFJ when people find you kind of mysterious. 13. But you know that you're INFJ when people find you intense but in a kind of nice and friendly way. 14. You know you are this type when most of your friends are ENFP's. 15. And you know also that you are of this type when you often have a soft spot for INTP's and ENTP's. 16. You know you're INFJ when you were never seen as the best but you kind of think you are the best in some domains. 17. You know you're an INFJ when your kinesthetic intelligence the movements intelligence is very low and very bad and is nothing to boast about. 18. But you also know that you're INFJ when you're stressed you turn into your kind of SC dominance ESTP. 19. You know that you are of this type when you go through a confident patch you feel like you're not an ESTP but an ENFJ. 20. Now unfortunately you know that you're INFJ when single criticism is enough to shake you off your confidence and you're no longer an ENFJ. 21. You know you're also an INFJ when you're in a good mood people often see you as an extrovert. 22. And you know you are of this type when people don't really understand the PJ difference which often pegs you as a P. 23. You know that you're an advocate when you don't really need people but at the same time, you really need people. 24. There's a good indication that you're an INFJ if a lot of the stuff you do nobody knows about. 25. But you also know that you could very well be this type when you try to be nice to everyone and your family for example unless they're really making no effort. 26. You know that you're of this type when you can become very cold to someone when you feel like that person has betrayed your trust. 27. Even more so you know that you're INFJ when some of your worst door slams can be seen as a little bit sadistic in their brutality. 28. You know you're INFJ when you feel sometimes as if you had 12 different personalities adapted to different kinds of audiences and have an intuitive feeling of what would be the best mode of expression to them. 29. You feel like you're an INFJ when you often feel like you're an actor in a film and present and detached at the same time. 30. You know that you're an INFJ when you know you would win so many more debates if your skin was a little thicker. 31. You know that you're of this type when you're neither left nor right brain but kind of both. 32. And you also know that you're this type when meeting an INFJ in real life is almost like a religious experience. 33. You know that you're an INFJ when talking to other INFJ's online can be a great source of warmth from a tough world. 34. You know that you're this kind of type when you have a unique kind of charisma which is subtle yet present and all your own. 35. You know that you're an INFJ when sometimes you put your phone in airplane mode not to be disturbed by mankind. 36. I think another tell-tale sign that you are this type is when your empathy that can be a source of difficulty sometimes can be a source of pleasure and you can utilize almost as a source of pleasure. For example when you put yourself in the shoes of a movie character or musician and feel like you can actually experience the fragments of their lives. 37. You know that you're an INFJ when your music taste is basically those of an INFP except that it is the INFPs that tell you about how to get a music taste. 38. You know that you're an INFJ when people are looking at you, you seem preoccupied or lost in a dream. 39. But you also that you are of this type if you're attached to paradox and even though you're logical you're interested in what can not be explained by logical means alone and that you're interested in what's behind that. 40. You know that you're an INFJ if you at the end of the day you feel a strong sense of kinship with INTJ's despite your differences. 41. You know that you're an INFJ when you were never the best at strategy games or board games of any kind it's almost if your intelligence lied elsewhere and whenever you were focusing on these games your intelligence was misused. 42. You know that you're an advocate if you often feel like your mind is really not made for thriving in the capitalist economy but maybe you would thrive in a different kind of economy. 43. And you know that you're an INFJ if you've tried to hand the poe at poetry once or twice in your life at least or maybe more. 44. And you especially know when your sense of humor is far less politically correct and proper than people think and in certain circles, people can be surprised by what you come up with. 45. Another telltale sign that you are of this type is that you're kind of a logical person but one way to make sure to convince people if they need to be convinced that you're not T is if you're in the presence of a cute animal. 46. You know that you're an INFJ when your thoughts simply do not translate into your ordinary language. 47. And you know that you're this type if you can feel extremely powerful emotions and mostly you feel blessed for that ability can be a source of pain which you would not exchange for anything else. 48. You feel like you might be an advocate if you hold grudges easier than you'd like to admit and don't easily let go of them although you can. 49. You know that you're an INFJ if you sometimes absorb another person's emotions even before that person has spoken it's almost as if the aura around the person has done the job already you'd absorbed all the waves. 50. You know that you're an INFJ if the one compliment that people would never take away from you that you would hear is that you're profound and you're someone who's fundamentally interested in others.

Mee too. Can hurt myself by tripping over non moving objects and be very clumsy ... But i love dancing. I don't feel like it is such a paradox as i experience dancing more like an emotional internally oriented experience. It's receiving and merging with the energy and waves of the music, resonating with it. Completely intimate and intuitive. Goes better with improvisation for me then with a stereotyped, fixed, learned sequence of steps, which is valueless for me. And i don't have such a great memory ... especially for things i'm not interested in, so, forget it with the learnt choregraphy !😋

Yes, I am actually much more agile and graceful in my movements than what I suppose an INFJ should be. Of course, I have been told I take after my grandfather and great grandfather, who were dancers at some point, and I also took martial arts as a kid which has helped A LOT in terms of my agility, flexibility, and reflexes. I am, though, a big klutz when I'm in a hurry.

Hi Ren! Very nice video with some traits that are not frequently talked about. I am a Spanish INFJ living in The Netherlands. Something that I sometimes struggle with is hierarchy, specially when authority is based only on force or a "because I say so" attitude (I experienced that since I was little). I think that or what we consider attacks on people in a disavantageous position or our values system, rubs us INfJs in the wrong way far more than to other types (and unexpected conflagration enssues as you said, Dragonball style :-D, which can scare people. I liked your point about board games: my brother (INTJ) and I liked playing when we were little but the moment someone was hypercompetitive or rules were strict, we became bored... We like to develop our own flexible rule systems in a creative process, I think we would probably be the worst soldiers ever.

I've watched this video of yours a few times before and twice today. Whenever I watch, it feels so enlightening. I tend to change my personality around different sorts of people that each of them would describe me in incorrect ways or just generalize me as sweet. Despite knowing a lot of people, there's rarely even a chance that they know me truly. Even my parents say that I'm so complicated and have so many layers that it shocks them at times. It would just freak me out when I've met strangers talking about their own life in general or when people will start sharing their deepest secrets after talking to me for only a few days or a week. Still I couldn't share easily. I switch off my phone or keep my wifi off so that I stay away from my friends for a while, without hurting them so that they don't know I'm detaching. Sometimes, it feels sad that why am I the way I am? Why I don't have a true "best friend"? I never thought there is something called as an logical feeler until I dug deeper into INFJs. Thank you so much for the insight!

OMG! Found your channel today. I learned I was an empath/HSP 4 years ago. Before then, I had struggled with depression and feeling like i was always tired for almost 9 years. Learning that I was a male empath helped me in so many ways. The biggest being that I learned to protect my energy and know when I needed to recharge. I'd sometimes hide from the world when I felt burnt out. I could never explain why. I revisited the Briggs-Meyer test because I hadn't done it since high school, and mine came up as INFJ. So glad I found your channel :) I've felt alone for years. I've always felt like the outsider where ever I go, and I struggled with feelings of inadequacy because I thought my sensitivity made me weak and less masculine. Anyway, thank you for your vids. I am so happy to read the experiences of others, and to see that there are other men out there who have had similar internal struggles.

@@RensRoom No problem :-), as an INFJ, I wish this video would have been around when I was a kid or teen because I wouldn't have felt so alone. You are one of the few INFJ's I connect with (I know I don't know you obviously, but I just mean in the way you would connect with anyone you watch on TV or KZread). You just seem so kind (from your videos) and really knowledgeable. Being an INFJ can be so hard at times, especially the empathy. I get so overwhelmed at times and its nice to know that there are others feeling the same types of things. It's so funny because the "feeling" you get from people is such an INFJ thing and I get such a "kind soul" feeling from you when I watch your videos :-). When I took them recently and got INFJ, it was like a lightbulb went off. Watching this video was truly like a religious experience. I'm well on my way to getting comfortable with arranging my life in a way that allows me to give what I can to the people I can, when I can. Great list! I identified with most of them except the ones about being friends with a certain MBTI type or being drawn to a certain type. I don't really make an effort to type other people, so I can't say for certain that's true about me. Also, at 4:42 Ha! Actually, I would say I'd win more debates if I didn't care about the *other* person's skin being too thin. I'd be able to shut down so many arguments so much more quickly if I were more ruthless and didn't care if the other person hated me for the rest of their lives. So I also toe the line. I'm not sure I understood the music choice one at 5:55 either because I don't know what INFP music tastes are like. Unless it's simply believing that great music has no single category, and you can find it across multiple genres. Thanks for this list though! It was quite illuminating. :-)

I think m an INFJ for sure now. My humor is not PC but revealed in trustworthy circles, meeting another person like me is a religious experience almost made for a grander purpose, never would trade off my emotions no matter how logical i am because i know somethings cant be explained by logic, anybody who knows me knows i completely shut off but when in group i seem extroverted, i morph my personality to best fit the vibes in the room, i know m good in debates but i also care to see others are not offended or see their point is definitely heard coz they have a wisdom to share too although i know m not the best debator, constantly searching for my purpose and how to best serve society, anybody who knows me knows i genuinely care for people and have difficulty saying no, i deeply relate to intps, entps and intjs. And yes i got a lot of enfp friends. I know am an INFJ. i thought i was an INTP, but i just know i read people too well and what they are all about, sometimes even knowing the ways to manipulate them but never for bad intentions, i see the potential for good in every human being, i like depth, philosophy, good in math, but most importantly i see that most of my thoughts are always images, or about humanity and its well being. I know for sure now INFJ. i havent doorslammed anyone. But i know if anybody betrays m never placing my trust on them ever again. I will still be cordial but will never ever give them back that trust ever. Its done forever...i might even fantasise about killing then in my dreams but dont worry i got sadistic thoughts only in dreams. I am too nice to ever want something this bad for anyone in reality even for my enemies. And no i dont have enemies. I will say i only tough teachers. They are all teachers for our personal development.
