#31 is probably my favourite Easter egg in the game, such a cute detail that makes the track feel just a little bit more in-depth and lively

I’m sooooo glad they brought back the river version of koopa cape’s music after it was absent in 7 and tour. That violin solo goes crazy!

9:27 Koopa Cape has 6 variants, Dolphin Shoals has only 4 because the last lap plays the same song Counting lap 1-2 and 3 (faster) So I think you are right

6:36 the ads for ddj and vl in courses like scs and wii cm don't mean anything they're just tour textures that were kept in mk8dx

i found that during la laps when you are going over the baseball stadium the coins are shaped like a baseball

I have a fun fact for sunset wilds In mario kart tour the shy guys from this track are playable ( not the red only the blue and yellow) but the blue one have a little detail who change between the playable caracter and the track during the race he have a shovel but when you play him he change his shovel for a pickaxe I know they just made one model and create two color variants but its just a fun little detail that I wanted to share

One more easter egg with the new character horns: In MK7, when Wiggler would turn red, a steam whistle sound effect would play. This was sadly removed for MK8D, however the sound effect is now his horn.

Dolphin shoals has three variations of its music. Also random custom items was always an option.

10:19 The random items option was always there since its release iirc. A weird thing I've noticed is that there is actually a slight theming to all the sets you get so it's not completely random, it just chooses a random theme

Yeah it's gotta be Athens or Vancouver. LA laps is good as a track, but I played the tour version and they made the music worse in 8 imo and that really killed it off for me

Custom items always had a random option

One thing I noticed is that Kamek had a total of 4 trick animations, with those being jumping up pointing the wand in the air while holding the kart, jumping up and making it rain magic particles, turning around and pointing the wand at you (similar to Kamek's render in Tour), and finally when kamek turns into a magic particle (half-pipe and the ramp coming out of the water on Koopa Cape exclusive). Upon release I didn't see the third one, and now the second one doesn't "appear". (Anyone get it?) Edit: I didn't want anyone raging about what gender I think Kamek is so I used gender neutral words like the and Kamek's name.

First of all stop rambling about the sun not setting in sunset wilds it has sunset in the name clearly stating that it takes place at sunset so if the sun went down each lap that wouldn't even make sense also random items were available before wave 5
