Same here in different words. I was taught violence is the last resort that includes pride yes that is a tough one but you got to walk away from it. I studied martial arts from the time I was 9 years old. By the time I was 20 I was extremely lethal. I fought and trained with some of the best athletes in the world. However I can't count the number of times I allowed people to bully me. I usually just walk away and in some incidences I bust out laughing when threatened. I deeply admire Terry and his success. You just don't go around punching people out because you can.

He brought himself back from the brink and built himself back up with the support from his wife. It doesn’t matter who or what you are, anyone can be assaulted by anybody. He chose the self control that he had trained himself to do. He knew he would have been like his character in jail eating mccheeseburgers! I don’t know the dude but I admire him and his actions. Man is created to praise, reverence, and serve God our Lord, and by this means to save his soul. And the other things on the face of the earth are created for man and that they may help him in prosecuting the end for which he is created. From this it follows that man is to use them as much as they help him on to his end, and ought to rid himself of them so far as they hinder him as to it. For this it is necessary to make ourselves indifferent to all created things in all that is allowed to the choice of our free will and is not prohibited to it; so that, on our part, we want not health rather than sickness, riches rather than poverty, honor rather than dishonor, long rather than short life, and so in all the rest; desiring and choosing only what is most conducive for us to the end for which we are created..

It happened to me. When I was 18 years old hanging my punch bag from the tree asked one of the male support workers to hold the bag. My girlfriend was there as I was putting the D-links above the branch. He's grabbed my cock from the sides and squeezed. I froze looked at my lass she was horrified aswell. & he popped his head round the bag & said haha. The place I was living protected him over me. Bosses got me in a room and said if he apologised it doesn't leave the room. I was classed as a vulnerable young adult. They then proceeded to lie to council saying I had no mental health issues or drug problems and no rent arrears. So I was moved out of the supported accommodation very quickly & left to my own devices. No support or nothing all because I told next member of staff. Only told them incase it happened worse to someone else and they didn't believe them

People who’ve never suffered trauma don’t understand that most people do freeze instead of going into fight or flight. People often just can’t believe what is actually happening to them & are just stunned. It’s disgusting to victim shame anyone. If it’s such a terrible experience for a large, strong man like Terry imagine how terrible it is for women & children.

Wouldn't say people who've never suffered trauma doesn't understand. We've all suffered from some kind of trauma or another at some point of our lives, or will at some point. No one ever gets through life unscathed. That being said however I do get your point and it is valid being frozen, shocked, surprised, or in denial/disbelief are some of the many reasons someone may not fight back. Had he reacted with violence he could've easily killed that dude, whether intentionally, inadvertently or accidentally and ended up in prison or worse. I've never been sexually assaulted, abused, molested or anything (my traumaisa whole different kind), but I know people who have been and I've seen the havoc and destruction it can cause and leave in it's wake first hand. I have a whole new perspective and type of respect for Terry Crews, he is absolutely a "Real Man", it takes a lot of guts, strength, courage, bravery, and heart to share such a horrible experience and be so open and honest about it and I thank him for sharing his story with us. What little respect I had for Curtis Jackson he just oblitherated, never to return, he's the one that's NOT a "Real Man", a real man wouldn't abandon his family nor would he not maintain contact ir a relationship with his son (or kids), or at the very least try his damndest to try and fix it. A real man would also support another man who has been through and reveals something like this, even if it's just saying I support you telling your story, or say I'm sorry for what you went through, or even just to sit and listen to them. Curtis is an example of how mot to be a man, he's an egocentric, self important, self centered, narcissistic, ignorant AssClown.

I 100 percent agree with your statement. However if your trying to say 50 cent doesn’t understand trama then I disagree with you if your not already familiar with his back ground then look that up is what I suggest but for me knowing his background I disagree if your trying to insinuate 50 doesn’t understand trama in fact I’d argue the reason 50 came after him in this situation is bc of his high level of understanding for trama with where he’s from he’s used to trama and his environment forced him to react and have a fight response so I think that’s why 50 is coming at him saying he’s not a real man bc where 50s from he grow up thinking real men respond immediately and go into a fight response bc that’s what 50 had to do in order to survive so in my opinion from only the knowledge I have of the situation I think 50 is trying to wrap his head around someone who in his eyes is supposed to be a man who didn’t fight not saying 50 is right if that’s what’s he’s doing I’m in simpler words put I think the issue isn’t that 50 doesn’t understand the trama but in fact understand trama to an high extent I think the issue is the environment in which they grew up in where one’s normal trama response is different then the other.

I have a whole new perspective and type of respect for Terry Crews, he is absolutely a "Real Man", it takes a lot of guts, strength, courage, bravery, and heart to share such a horrible experience and be so open and honest about it and I thank him for sharing his story with us. Especially as a man because as such, when you say you were molested, sexually assaulted, or raped and you're a man people tend not to belive you or take it seriously and for a big guy like him it's worse because lower lifeforms with lower intelligence like Curtis Jackson say and think that the bigger you are or the more size you have no one should be able to do anything to you and if they do then you have to prove you're a man with violence and violent retaliation. Also they ask how or just don't believe a man can be raped or sexually assaulted. I was watching something one time where this guy was in court because some women (like 3 or 4 of them) at a bachelorette party handcuffed him to the bed and they all took turns raping him. During his testimony at their trial their defense attorney said it was physically impossible for him or any man to be raped, because to do so he'd have to get/have an erection and maintain it and that it could only happen if he was turned on and that would also mean that he wanted it and enjoyed it. A doctor and/or scientist rebutted saying that it was a natural response of the body because of the way our bodies are wired/programed to respond to stimuli, and that the body doesn't know that what's happening is not wanted and not to respond as it normally would. Your brain does but while it sends messages to your body it doesn't/can't signal your penis to go flaccid, in fact some of those messages makes your heart race, and sends out adrenaline that alone can give you an erection, fear amongst other things can also cause one. Having one I can attest to the truth of those statements, I have an illness that oftentimes causes me to have absolutely excruciating pain, so much so that I end up in the hospital for weeks, sometimes months. There have been times where I'm in so much pain I can't even think and it blocks out everything else, nothing exists but me and the pain and have still gotten erections even though I wasn't trying to get one or didn't want one. It's just like I've heard people say that if a woman is being raped and her vagina gets wet or .if she has an orgasm while being raped, then she wasn't raped, she wanted and/or enjoyed it, which is complete and utter bullshit. Vaginal lubrication is another natural biological response as well as a protective measure to prevent damage to the delicate and sensitive organ, it's very easy to damage a vagina especially if it's dry/not lubricated, it can also cause some external damage to a penis when not lubricated. Couple the dryness with the friction from sex and it's like rubbing your penis with sandpaper. I salute and support your courage Terry Crews.

The thing is we got to come to an understanding that we got to respect what other people go through, the factors that calculated into his decisions may not be what would factor into our own. We need to give this guy props for admitting it to the world. I mean if it happened to a lot of us and we didn't knock his ass out the majority of us would never speak on it again more less tell the damn world.

I've been where Mr. Cruz was, I was humbled and humiliated also. My wife and I were in the same house, same bed, and wouldn't speak with each other, practically at all, and I didn't care. One day I finally decided to go to counseling with her after she begged me for the longest. During those sessions, I was able to understand that we both had issues, and those issues were creating barriers. We both took counseling seriously and worked on ourselves. I also took individual sessions to work on myself. It's been 13 yrs, and now we look back on that dark time and it helps us to appreciate our growth together.

I understand precisely why Terry reacted as he did. We can always say "I would have done" this or that. The fact is that unless you are actually in that moment, you can only assume, hope or guess. AA really need to unite and support one another. Men, be the man you "think" you are but in a positive manner. Seriously, 50cent should be the last to talk. Rather than demonizing a victim, maybe he should use that same energy to establish a relationship with his son. That would be the true test of manhood.
