The Rock really isn't a rock. Jesus is the "Rock," and Mr. Johnson with his foul perverted mouth could just say no. But he thinks he has to be verbally abusive to make his point. Vin should be considered a rock with empathy. He love Paul and wasn't too macho to show some feelings for his departed close brother and his family.

I think I can understand where Vin is coming from. He and Paul planned Fast and Furious. They were always working on this project. They were closer than brothers. Then one day, he's gone. Vin is feeling this kind of survivor's guilt. He had made all these plans with Paul, then Paul dies and that was like a part of himself died and he probably went through a phase of being lost due to the fact that the man who was supposed to be there in the trenches with him, working on everything, is gone. He's now trying to hold the pieces together and trying to remember Paul and make sure he's not forgotten. I can imagine he's losing his mind with grief and it's like the world is moving on while Paul is gone.

Já se roky nemohu zbavit pocitu, že byl Paul obětován. ..nebyl by v Hollywoodu první. Těch příběhů dvou kamarádů/ kamarádek a jeden zemře, druhý se vytáhne v kariéře na vrchol. Jsou to všichni herci. Jak dokáží sami rozeznat, že tu není klapka a jsou sami za sebe?
If it was only about the money for Vin, he would have cast someone else to play Paul's character instead of including him but not seeing him. I respect Vin for keeping his family together on and off screen.

Vin Diesel's most unsung performance was not in one of his action movies, but in a somewhat obscure mob flick called, "Find Me Guilty". His portrayal of New Jersey mob soldier Jackie DiNorscio is impeccable. As far as "The Rock" is concerned, he's fallen like one in the estimation of millions for his alliance with that most evil and calculating woman, Oprah Winfrey in asking the public for money to help the fire victims of Hawaii.

A real man understands compassion, dignity and above all loyalty. A real man knows how to cry, and in the process shows his humanity. All those qualities are what Vin Diesel embraces.
I lost my best friend, my brother Scott, in early 2018. I think about him almost daily. I've woken up from dreams about him several times over the years and I can't tell you how many times I've been doing something or watching something on tv etc. and thought "Man, I wish you were here Scott. You'd love this." I can't tell you how many times, I've shed tears wishing I could just call him up or hang out again. I don't know that you ever really get over the loss of a real friend. It's so rare.

When I lost my brother I learned that I haven’t gotten over his death in a sense rather I just managed how to deal with it. In my mind I know he wouldn’t want me to be so sad everytime I think of him but remember the good times and live for him. That’s what would put a smile on his face. Hopefully you all can try to do the same. The bottom line is I don’t think we get over a loved ones passing. We just learn different ways to cope with it.

I think you're right. I think it's an unreal expectation that we "get over" the death of a loved one. We will always have that empty part of our life. We don't get over them, we learn to live with the loss and we keep on living.

I've lost friends who were my brothers and sisters over the decades of my life and even after all these years I still miss them terribly. I know how you feel, the moments of wanting to call them up or turning to ask them something and they are not there. It hurts more than any physical pain I have ever endured, even in combat. But with that pain you know you truly loved that person. It is a reminder of that part of yourself that is gone but will never be forgotten.
The Rock's latest movies have been tanking. So he crawled back to Fast franchise after he said he would never do it again. Shows who the Rock really is.
I truly appreciate the authenticity of Vin. He is undeniably a genuine individual, and witnessing his affection through the years for Paul sends a beautiful message to all of us. Let us never forget the importance of cherishing our family! Some, sadly, doesn´t understand this and only want a paycheck!

I’ve been saying that in this post thing is it? That whole group is family. They all lost a brother. I stopped liking Dwayne Johnson a long time ago, before watching this but my dislike totally solidified after the video. Telling someone how to grieve just pisses me off! I also think that he is jealous that John Cena developed an acting career after he did. But you can tell that John Cena loves what he’s doing, and I mean so many of his things are comedies. Omg! I totally forgot he has him in 2 Fast movies. Like can you see John Cena treating Vin that way? he’s mad because he wanted to be in charge of things for DC and got knocked down by them. Then he went to the next franchise that made his career. Such a dirtbag

I can understand how people initially thought Vin Diesel was “milking” it. But if you actually look just a little, you can see the love he truly has. His character always shown through, and it’s a beautiful soul with good intentions. Dwayne the Rock puts on a good face, but if you look at his history, you truly see manipulation and a goal to become famous. I’m not even necessarily blaming him, or saying he hasn’t worked for it. I’m just sayin, one person is doing these from the heart. While the other isn’t, and never will. I’m going to continue watching The Rocks movies, cause frankly I enjoy them. But I will never respect him.

@merluzo8269 no he's not. Family isn't always blood, and when you lose someone that way, it's forever in your heart. He took on a role as an uncle for Paul's daughter, that's what makes a family. He's not milking it. I lost my mother at 15 but I still celebrate her birthday, mother's day and the day she died. Love never fades and it NEVER gets easier. It's ALWAYS interesting how people tell a person how long to mourn. HOW DARE YOU PUT A TIME LIMIT ON SOMEONE'S MOURNING PERIOD WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW THE RELATIONSHIP THEY HAD WITH THE PERSON WHO DIED. People are a real trip. That's like telling a Mother whose son was murdered to get over it. That's like telling a child to get over the death of a parent or grandparent. No, Vin was using Paul Walker's death to manipulate The Rock into coming back to the Fast franchise after he already said he wasn't coming back after they couldn't get along during the filming of Fast 8 in 2016. Apparently, they buried the hatchet and Rock is returning as Luke Hobbs again.

Vin went through a lot and in the end, came out the much bigger man. The Rock has always struck me as phony and when I watch him in film, I know that he is acting, if you know what I mean.
Truth is nobody can judge either of these man ‘cause when people are feuding everybody involved is seeing it from their point of view and in their eyes their right, remember we as humans still cannot see what’s inside people’s hearts. I’m surprised everyone is saying this about the Rock whereas previously they were saying bad hints about Vin, if anything I thought we all would’ve have learned that every time something is said that touches our hearts we will suddenly see the other person as a villain. Same if some other story comes out that paints Vin in some bad light, we or at least a lot of us will see him as the villain, in this way we are like ship that cannot just let and know that people fight and we all don’t have to get involved every time ‘cause how many times are we gonna flip flop on taking sides? We should just celebrate when people put their differences asides and make up

Dwayne should of came in respecting Vin but instead comes in trying to take over.
Vin Diesel is like a 2nd Father to Paul's daughter. Paul Walker is still Alive with use in SPRIT!!!!! He is not Gone.❤
I didn't just want Vin to move on. I lost close friends who were like family - and one of those friends I called "Papa" because he was older and looked out for me and he was sometimes parental. I loved him. Even my Father would ask me "How's your Papa?" And, my dad sent him an Air Force T-shirt (my Dad is a retired Colonel). When Papa (aka Mark D'Amato, from Rollerjam, the Enforcers) disappeared from being online and no longer at his job, my Mom told me to go over there to see him... and I did. It was the last time I saw him alive, and I asked him, "Papa, are you going to be okay?" He shook his head, no, and then hugged me and held on tight. My point in sharing that is to indicate that I understand in a lot of ways what Vin was saying, and there is no "hurry up and get over it". Those kinds of friendships, people who ARE part of your family because you love them... you don't ever get "over" that, just as a parent never gets over the death of a child, or a child doesn't get over the death of one of their parents. In time, you find yourself smiling and even laughing more and more when you think of them, and tears come less and less, but you never get over it.
Vin Diesel is a true friend❤️

Correct. If Vin Diesel was this bad guy he would've never name his daughter after some friend. I think he did a great honor to his fallen comrade when he passed away on November 30th, 2013:-).
You have to be twisted not to see Vin’s grief and hear the emotions in his voice and all the other ff family you can also see Paul’s family have a close bond with him and the gang ❤

I don't know the whole thing about people saying he's milking it. Might be people projecting. Yeah, I understand some people don't like Vin Diesel but he doesn't come off as a douche. I've heard nothing but positivity from people who've asked for an autograph and even if he once came off as a douche I hardly think he's an opportunist and fake friend like DJ here.
People go through that, and it’s a normal thing because how can you forget and get over someone who passed away. so I don’t know why people want vin to get over Paul’s death, specially because he takes care of meadow and cares for her as if he were her dad. It’s super weird for DJ to be all grumpy about everything

in my POV, DJ is always trying to be the alfa male in almost every aspect of his life and smash all the thing he think is a "candy ass". meanwhile Vin is now more towards sigma male who take each steps wisely and for much greater good. sometimes the older we get, doesn't always be the wiser.

I'm one of those people who takes the death of a loved one very hard... my dad (who I was so very close to) passed away 7yrs ago and I still can't even hang his pic's up.. Truthfully I can't even look at a picture of him without crying... I don't even get on FB anymore because family members were randomly posting pic's of him and I just couldn't take it after a while, so I just don't get on there very often anymore.. I might get on FB maybe 10 time's total a year... That's just one example of how badly I react when I love someone and they pass away... Knowing how bad I am at accepting death my heart breaks for VD because of how that man was told to get over the death of his BFF his brother from another mother and since he didn't because his heart wouldn't let him DJ tried to cancel him.. It almost worked too but since VD is a truly genuine kind hearted person and DJ is an attention slut and wants to try and bully anyone he can to try and get ahead in the industry everyone is starting to see him for who he truly is.. look how he did Brendan Fraser...!!

@@tamipierce5916 yeah, exactly. everyone reacts differently, and when you truly love and care for a person it’s difficult to get over that persons death because they’re no longer here. Everyone deals with it in their own way. Doesn’t matter if it’s a friend or a relative etc because it still hurts. I can’t imagine what it’s like to lose a parent because those who are blessed to have good parents truly have it all because a parents love hits different. I am sorry for your loss, and I truly hope your heart will be at peace and that each day will be easier for you.
I think it’s amazing how Vin still honors Paul. That’s brotherhood, and That’s family!! It’s everything! Such love for Vin for caring about Paul so much! I know me as well as a lot of other fans appreciate it as well! Paul was the best! Why wouldn’t we all still miss him and want to honor him always?! It’s just like if a beloved family member of ours dies! Are we going to go tell someone to get over it?! No! .. Who cares what anyone else says, I think we should always honor Paul. He deserves to always be remembered. It takes a real man to show what’s in his heart to the world. So way to go Vin! 👏🏼. I’m proud of them all and the franchise! They have come such a long way and it really shows that true character, love, and friendship can really make something completely amazing! ❤
Easier said then done when coming from people who have no clue how it feels to lose someone, you don’t GET OVER it. For people to say that are the people that I feel sorry for bc obviously they don’t know a bond , a love , friendship. There are no steps and there’s definitely no time limit on one’s grief. It’s forever 😇🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️
death is always hard to deal with rip paul
This made me shed a tear 😢also I did not know the rock was egotistical. Silly me I thought his rock image was just a persona.

The Rock is a persona, it's from his WWF wrestling career when he created the character in response to the wrestling fahs hating the way he was presented to them as a squeaky clean happy go lucky Rocky Maivia character who was boring, despite the company pushing him as the next big thing. He dropped the nice guy persona, and morphed into the cocky, trash talking Rock that he later became famous for.

Vin, I’m sorry man about your losses. I can imagine what it’s like since I have lost my best friend, and just buried my second brother in two years. It is an extremely difficult thing losing your loved ones and your own blood. It truly makes one feel all alone. There are always beautiful blessings that come after you witness them going back home to the Universe to God. One in part that everyone now understands what a class act you truly are and what Dwayne really is. Brendan Frazier was a great example of another example of grace. The people of Maui let the world know.
That's true love. Guess some people are do caught up in loving themselves they can not love someone else the same way. Way to go Vin
Finally! Someone who can see the truth and not get blind by Rock’s love we all had from WWE. The success that Dwayne had got into his head way too much for his own good. I think a good person is who achieves a shit ton of success but never loses his ground and keeps his foot firmly there. You just won me as a subscriber big time after this video man. Thank god there are still some people who have their own minds and thought process and just ain’t a sheep herding with the flow of the other sheep’s. Just because people like rock from the wwe for his amazing character he played there doesn’t mean they should get blind about the shit he has been playing behind the scenes, fooling everyone just because they love him specially since his Jumanji movie series worked big time, he thought it was all him and now he’s invincible. From 2016 onwards, he started to act real different then he was earlier. Just look at the old videos from fast five and fast & furious six, how well he was acting with vin diesel just because he haven’t yet saw that rise like he did after 2016. It’s sad. Just sad. I mean yes, people can find some things about vin a lil weird but Atleast that guy ain’t a fake goodie all the time like Dwayne is. No matter how weird few of vin’s stuff might seem to some people, that dude is all heart man. That’s why I always liked Vin as a person other Dwayne. As Dwayne tries to act way too perfect all the time. And as we all know ‘nobody’s freaking perfect in this world’ he just hides his demons from the worlds eyes. But as always, sooner or later we get to see the reality of a person. Congratulations you gained a sub from me after this one. And I will ask others to sub to this channel as well. Great video guys. 👏🏻🔥
Right on Vin, you the man and a awesome actor. Paul supported the Maunakea movement on the Hawaiian islands and he loved the Hawaiian people dearly. That man had the true Aloha, I don't agree with the Maunakea Movement for the people that was involved but Paul did and seen the value of the mountain that is very sacred to the Hawaiian people on all of the Hawaiian islands. I never met both of you and probably never will but I wish you the best in your acting career and as a person, keep being that awesome person you are and never stop moving forward, Alo Ha....
Sometimes i think about it i wish their was a way to go back in time and save him from losing his life you will be missed Paul Walker ♥
Death is a something you never get over. You just live with it. I lost my brother, he was my best friend to cancer. I lost my mother in November. My dad has Alzheimer's and I am slowly watching him die and talking care of him. You are a great friend Vin. You are doing the right thing. I promised my brother I would take care of My parents and keep them put of a nursing home. I have quit my job and doing just that. Its been hard. Losing my brother has been so hard. He always had my back right or wrong. I just don't get the Rock. I am very disappointed in him. Thank you for being Paul's brother and friend.
Paul is smiling seeing those he loves honoring him this way! ❤
I guess ff franchise is vin diesal's way of coping with his best friend's death. I think after 10 they should just leave it to rest as that will show if that vin diesal truly cares for his friend enough to stick to his promise. If they continue passed 10 however, it'll seem like vin is milking the franchise for money and doesn't care for his friend. We'll see what happens next i guess.

My opinion: Dwayne J. was only good in #5. After that he really wasn't needed anymore. It started turning into a cop movie. Which was the WRONG direction.
Vin Diesel made a short documentary in the early 90's that was based on the difficulties he and others like him were going through as a young actors of mixed ethnicity. He didn't just act in the short film, he also wrote it. A producer attending a film festival viewed the film, and was so impressed with Vin Diesel's acting in the film, but also his unique writing skill that gives the viewer a clear understanding of the message the film portrayed. The producer was having a difficult time with casting a small role in a large budget film he was producing and directing with Tom Hanks. That producer was Steven Spielberg, and that's how Vin Diesel received his role in Saving Private Ryan. He has earned respect as an actor, but The Rock, I think there is an overlooked fact that needs to be looked at to make a sound opinion of him. The Rock found fame as a Pro Wrestler in the WWE. Wrestlers suffer with the stress of a very demanding work schedule, and the expectation of performing while suffering from serious physical injuries with a career ending injury happening at any moment. One night you become the Champion, that same match could be your last, because of injury, and that is where that mindset of not dwelling on the past and just get over it happens. The Rock is reacting to that expectation of "The show must go on"! Both of these men have earned respect, and I hope they can see that!

It's an amazing feat that Vin could write and produce his own short film. According to what I've read, he wrote it specifically for an actor of his one-note style.
This whole situation would have been resolved in a day over a face to face conversation between them both like men. But when the internet and media get involved, that's when things get complicated and messy.

Beautiful video!
First time I heard Vin's voice years ago, he had me. Man has a very lovable voice. I've tried to watch every movie he's made, just to hear him talk.
Keep it going, Vin Diesel. You're keeping your brother's spirit alive. ❤️🙏🏻🕊️
Vin is a real friend
I got emotional when they played that song as the two cars split apart. I watched that movie with my daughter. I know how it feels to lose someone that had an impact on your life.
Yeah it's sad to lose a loved one hope the best

I lost my fiance and my second oldest brother I even lost my Best friend who was like a brother to me I know how hard it is for vin d to move on it's not easy

The rock is that bully that insists hes the kid at school EVERYONE says hi to. When vin was actually the guy you didnt realize comes to see everyone for a few minuets, then goes to quietly focus on his shit.

Dwayne Johnson needs to stop because Vin Diesel and Paul walker was brothers for life and Dwayne Johnson. Can’t respect that and that is real sad and Vin Diesel keeps his promises with Paul and vin Diesel did take good care of Paul walker daughter and Paul and vin Deisel really wanted to make 10 movies together RIP Paul walker❤
imagine losing someone you love and everyone else telling you to get over it.
I was lucky enough to have dinner next to Paul Walker at Carlitos in Santa Barbara CA about 20 years ago so I kept going back on that same day and I was lucky enough to have dinner with next to him four times. Supper cool guy💪
Used to be a big fan of the Rock but I got over him while back from doing research on movies he did. Did you know every movie rock was in he has done has only benefited him and almost ended others careers. Don't believe me he just so happens to be black Adam then the guy who plays Superman quites more to the story if you ask me like trying to save his career My new name for The Rock is Death Star because he will try to burn you down if you choose to work with him. Also get over your muscles we get it you work out you don't have to flont it in almost every movie including cartoons really? and stop doing the eye raise thing you remind me of Zoolander.

Totally knew the Rock was the instigator, Rock is all about himself thats it!!😮
I think it's sad when the media milks a feud, which I think has happend 1000fold in Vin & Dwayne's case. I Don't know either of them personally, but I get the impression that they both do a lot of good for other people (and for themselves). They both strike me as big, strong, tough, "alpha" men, and I think personalities like that don't go well together, most of the time. Two people, who both prefer being the ONE in charge, will naturally have a hard time working together. That being said, I think being respectful and professional is more important than showing the world that you're number one.
