I would say my biggest takeaway is focusing on the "big picture" as a motivator. I try to align this big picture to the big picture of my life & goals. I love serving people & seeing people benefit from + improve the quality of their lives - that is what keeps me motivated everyday

Listened ‘21 Habits to Increase Productivity’ CD on way into work for 4, 5th time. After reading my Bible, then a nutritious breakfast, turning commuting time into learning time- ‘classroom on wheels’ has paid dividends Simply through making commuting time productive, over the last few years I’ve achieved conversational proficiency in Russian, a very challenging language for a native English speaker. Thanks!

Sometimes I try so hard to rush and leave work to get home and by the time I get home and a few hours pass I ask my self why I was being so dramatic about it. Probably because humans rnt meant to work like this but I do it all the time and I’m the boss.

My takeaways are - focusing on the most important task - position affirmations to boost mood - setting goals and finishing lines to get competitive ( if possible get involved in personal goal setting with manager) - celebrating big and small wins - focus on the why and the bigger picture to keep going

Thanks for the advices. The best thing i learned was about positive affirmations. I quickly remembered how SpongeBob do this act every morning when he go to his work. And just by that, i realized how small positive affirmations were but very impactful in our mindset and beliefs that are crucial on how we perform daily task and work. Maybe I got too harsh too myself hence i always feel drained and unmotivated. I'll start practicing positive affirmations from now on, thanks!

Even though I work from the comfort of my own home, and I have the freedom to work as long and at whatever times I want, I still find myself avoiding work and struggling to be motivated to begin working, even though I'm very good at what I do (I say this without meaning to brag, I never like bragging, I say it as in my clients have told me I've been very wonderful and helpful to them and how good I am doing what I'm doing), and it's really a mix of many factors that keep me avoiding work, mostly the fact that every day, I have those few customers that make me feel useless or like my effort isn't worth it, even though such cases aren't many they happen every single day, and that keeps me from wanting to work.

Why? Weed is great and all but being intoxicated at work is a really dumb idea, take my advice (if you somehow haven't been fired yet) and don't smoke at work. If you want something try kratom, non addictive herbal pain killer that makes you feel good (not intoxicated though) you will be talkative and its very helpful for jobs that require a lot of standing (I work deli in a grocery store) and best yet my boss allows me take it because I'm not getting intoxicated and its helping me be talkative when I'm very socially anxious. Please don't ruin your job chances. I hope I helped you, if you want to ask some questions I'm here and will respond.
